  1. Fair take, though its interesting to see how Sabonis who led the league in rebounds and double doubles won't get an all-star nod. Also, with the new CBA threshold for minimum 65 games played to be considered for all-NBA and team of the year considerations, health and not being a bonehead is key.

For instance, Ja Morant is suspended for 25 games, eliminating him from any All-NBA consideration.

And considering the other superstars in the west – KD, Bradley Beal, Lebron, Klay, Luka, Kyrie, (Lillard?), Paul George, Westbrook, CP3, Kawhi, aren't the epitome of health these days, there's a chance a whole bunch of them don't qualify for end of season honors.

On the bench situation, Sasha and Lyles. Sasha may struggle against 3s in the nba due to his lack of athleticism. Lyles doesnt have the lateral speed. There might be more of a call that Barnes drops to the bench as a 3 behind Keegan Murray and Sasha is the starting 4, with Lyles or Barnes as his backup. Sabonis has an excellent dribble handoff game and can hit cutters with ease thanks to his height advantage seeing the floor. Sasha is a great offball cutter and sniper. Plus, like Sabonis and Fox, Vezenkov is left handed.
