  1. Would it make sense to trade clint capela in a package and start onyeka okongwu for atlanta?

  2. Siakam doesn't want to leave and his camp is hurting is value by saying he'd not extend with the team he's traded too. He will get extended and then traded by 2024 at the earliest

  3. Could siakam get traded and sihn back with the raptors after is contract done 🤔

  4. Siakam also doesn't want to leave because he wants to be supermax eligible. That's why he told teams to not trade for him because he can only get that supermax in Toronto. Also Masai has a bias towards his African players. Plus his flaw of only accepting clearly one sided trades.

  5. The Raptors would much rather keep players and lose them for nothing than make a bad trade before. Look at the history. Hawks waiting for the price to go down is a waste of time.

The Raptors didn’t want Collins and don’t want Hunter. I think the Raptors are asking for Bogdanovic (can’t be traded till September) + Okongwu + Griffin + Bufkin. If the Hawks don’t offer that I bet the Raptors sign Siakim long term an trade him is a few years.

  6. I could see the possibility of a team like Utah, Portland, or OKC trying for a trade. Especially with the draft compensation they could give Toronto. (At least when it comes to Utah and OKC).

With Portland, I could see this being a chance to move off of Damian Lillard or a chance to keep Lillard by trading away a couple of picks, Scoot Henderson, Jusuf Nurkic + Jeremi Grant (And then signing someone like Wood to replace Nurkic, though not sure if Grant is able to be traded yet, also not sure if the money works…I haven't done a trade machine on this). Because Dame + Siakam would be a hell of a duo and would quickly change his mind about leaving.

Or Portland can continue the rebuild and trade Dame away. Where Miami just isn't putting an offer the Blazers want and nobody is sure if Dame would play for them or sit out or even retire and walk away from Basketball. Though I know the league has said he can't demand one team and tell people he won't play for anyone else.

Because if I am Portland and wanting to rebuild, I start talking to every team and seeing if they are wanting to be a part of the deal with Miami or if they want to do a straight up trade for Dame.

Because I don't see a straight deal for Dame working and giving Portland what they want. Someone from Miami is going to have to go to another team, with a contract and a pick or two going to Portland. That is the only way I think that trade gets done.

All I know is that right now, teams with a chance for a title have to be at least interested in either of those players. Even with the risk of losing Siakam. Even if it makes Dame unhappy. It is just a matter of how to make it work.

I know. Rambling. But, I had to get all of my thoughts out on this.

  7. We can trade Siakam for a way better package than what ATL can offer. If not; keep him we don't NEED to trade our best player lol

  8. Pascal didn’t saw he wouldn’t resign, he said he will look around the league to see what is available before signing anything

  9. Should've traded him last season. Toronto has kinda messed this up because now Siakam might go and OG is definitely opting out and not signing an extension. Losing two prominent players for nothing is a disaster…

  10. siakam isnt being traded. got nothing but unsubstantiated reports. the raptors tried to re-sign vanvleet. the idea that they just let dudes walk for nothing in return isnt true. precious was acquired through a sign and trade with lowry when lowry didnt have to agree to a sign and trade. the rockets massively overpaid for vanvleet but dont get it twisted the raps tried to bring him back. you're out of your mind to think they arent gonna try to retain their best player. it would be stupid for an organization that is trying to win to rely on the hope that scottie barnes becomes what siakam currently already is. growing and building chemistry only gets harder when you trade core pieces just to trade them. youre asking scottie barnes to bump his PPG by double digits when you suggest to trade your star player for very bad packages. let me see barnes average 20 for a season before im packing a multiple all nba player. pascal is eligible for the supermax if he makes another all nba team. the team is giving him that opportunity. it also makes no sense to suddenly rebuild when they locked down an older center in jakob poeltl for 4 years. they got a veteran point guard in schroder. do those moves scream at you "we are hitting the reset button" ? koloko is on the team. if this rebuild or youth movement towards scottie barnes was happening dont you think they'd put another young center to develop with him? use your brain for a minute.

  11. At Last year trade deadline, the clippers offered Mann, morris, Kennard, two 2nd for Fred vanfleet. But Masai countered with Mann, two 1st , and zubac . The Deal fell off . Probably the same will happen with pascal , Masai will want the moon 🌙 again

  12. As a hawks fan I don’t want siakam, he’s a good player but he’s a terrible fit on the hawks especially if you keep Capela. He’s literally going to get shoved in the Collins spot up shooter roll for a year and leave, he’s not going to get the ball like he did in Toronto. The hawks need a 3nD 4 like Finny-Smith they don’t need to give up the few assets they have left to get a guy who’s going to leave in a year
