Sixers bringing Harden to camp – won’t trade him
ESPN Sources: The 76ers have ended trade talks on guard James Harden and plan to bring him back to training camp for start of the season. The Sixers had periodic offseason conversations with the Clippers — Harden’s desired destination — but no traction on a deal materialized. pic.twitter.com/sJwXMsBYKW

That should be fun. Morey gonna Morey
Mann won’t get more than 20 mins a game next season, this shit is so cooked LMAO
Time to find another trade for Mook senior
Yeah this season might be finished before it’s even started.
I’ve been a proponent of running it back one last time with 213 because lucking into two players as good as PG and Kawhi still are is very difficult but if we’re just going to run it back with the same exact mediocre, aging team minus Marcus Morris why would we expect things to go any differently from last year?
And before someone replies acting like injuries are the only thing holding us back, we did not play like a title contending team last season EVEN when the BOTH of them were playing. it’s not just injuries. The team around these two guys just isn’t very good anymore!
Harden was probably our only realistic shot at acquiring the high level talent boost this team desperately needs. Oh well. If we go into the season with the same team as last year at least I can keep my expectations extremely low.
Y’all in here thinking bitch ass harden was going to change the season is so sad.
I’m fine with this, harden was always a luxury, but he didnt acctually move the needle for us, only a healthy 213 season moves the needle for us. I do hope we make another trade, trading for another rotation player would be ideal, especially if we could get morris outta here
This seems like a really bad look for the sixers if they keep him into the season. They agreed to trade him when he opted in and now he’s basically being held hostage there (not literally I know he’s still making millions lol). He doesn’t have to be traded to us but it seems like they should definitely trade him somewhat soon unless they want to take the risk of effecting their ability to sign players in the future
Morey should be fired for how he has handled the sixers roster since he joined. Lackluster supporting cast and a disgruntled harden. Waiting to “call his bluff” is playing with fire. If harden still wants to play because he has no choice we will see. But morey sucks so far at what he does
What is even the point of this? Harden signs his contract extension so the Sixers can get assets back in a trade but he insists he wants to go the Clippers, who he also has to know don’t have the assets to make it a fair trade for the sixers. Not only that, but for the clippers, you give up good role players and the few picks you have left for one year of Harden then what? He’s another old guy who dosent perform at the level he used to but still wants tons of money. Do the clippers sign him and keep getting older and more mediocre or let him walk for nothing? This whole trade makes no sense for anyone.
Good riddance, they keep trying to rip is off, now we cna finally move on and dump Sr
We’ll see you in February
