[Wojnarowski] Harden has been emphatic in wanting a trade, so the Sixers are setting up an uncomfortable situation to start camp. Ultimately, Philadelphia wouldn’t make a trade that they believed would compromise their title hopes.

How did that turn out for the nets and rockets lol

  2. BigDaddyJuno

Embiid is going to ask out within a year

  3. EarthWarping

Practice with Nurse is going to be a spectacle

  4. So Morey and the 76ers choose violence!

(Actually wish the Nets did the same and refused to trade him.)

Nick Nurse is going to be bald by December. Not only Harden but a potentially unmotivated Harden. Yeeesh.

If you trade Harden for Norm Powell and Morris or something, you’re essentially guaranteeing that Embiid asks out soon. So why help the Clippers and get barely anything back, unless they could somehow turn it into a three team deal where they get Lillard or something.

A lot is made about the supposed pay cut Harden took, but the whole discussion those playoffs was about how he isn’t worth the max anymore. It seems he wanted the 4 year max or close to it from Philly, but no team wants to give that to him anymore because he’s declined so I don’t blame them on that front either. This is his 3rd trade request in the last 3 years lol.

genuine question, should the sixers just cut their losses and trade the MVP while his value is at its highest? even with harden i didn’t take them very seriously as a contender but with a checked out harden or a trade package that won’t net you contending value i think it’s worth considering if nothing else

They have literally no shot at a title with harden and Embiid

Hold the line, GMs. Nets took the bait last time and gave up a haul for a very unmotivated Ben Simmons. Don’t let them off the hook again. 🖕🏻Philly!

Best case scenario for this Clippers fan and 76ers hater: Harden is stuck unhappily in Philly, Clippers find somewhere else to unload their surplus.

Cause Harden not putting any effort forward won’t compromise their title chances lol?

At least they can get something if they trade him, cause he has nothing stopping him from putting no effort in.

What’s the point of contracts anymore lol

  13. Wedundidit00

I strongly believe Harden himself will know compromise their title hopes

  14. jfrodriguez1983

Harden about to compromise their title hopes with the effort he’s about to put out.

  15. Acrobatic-Dog7044

Lol what title hopes they literally lost solid regular season rotation players.

  16. I_hate_humanity_69

I’m always down for a 76ers meltdown, lfg

  17. Toastfuker1

I’m still confused why Harden opted in?

  18. Boomhauer_007

Shouldn’t have opted in without a deal in place

  19. shakir0503

Title hopes lol, get out the second round first

Fuck man, NBA stars have too much power. Shit is so bad for the league, and it’s just creating a bunch of entitled crybabies who want shit handed to them. The time of culture, building chemistry over time and improving through adversity together is gonna be gone soon at this rate.
