>”I come from a Jordan era. I am biased and I’m going to be biased until the day I pass away. Michael Jordan will be my GOAT,” Wade continued. “I’m not taking anything away from LeBron. LeBron is amazing. But Michael Jordan is my GOAT.”
>Later, he added: “He (LeBron) will be the GOAT for a lot of generations. I started playing the game because of Michael Jordan. He will be my GOAT until the day I pass away…
>”For me, from Chicago, where I grew up, I made it out the hood because I seen a dude, No. 23, play the game of basketball at a level that I was like, ‘I just want to do some of that.'”

>my GOAT
Brandon Miller changed the game
It’s over for Bron stans. If he can’t even get his best friend to anoint him GOAT status then he never had a chance.
This is a good answer to the “debate.” Most of us who grew up watching Mike on live TV and not Youtubes will say he’s the GOAT, just like many of the younger generations will lay claim to LeBron. Can’t go wrong with either tbh. I’m sure Kareem, Wilt, and Russell followed similar patterns when our fathers & grandfathers & future players in the 70s watched them play.
Michael Jordan as the goat is very obvious….
BREAKING: Kid who grew up in the 90s in Chicago idolizes Michael Jordan
He isn’t wrong. Different generations have different goats depending on who they grew up watching for the most part
Favorite player vs. GOAT is a different conversation
Nba players really don’t understand the difference between “my favorite player” and “greatest of all time”
I have started thinking of it as greatest of a time. For me, it is MJ. For someone who missed MJ, I could see them saying LeBron of it they were Lakers fan Kobe. People before me might say Magic, Larry, Kareem, Wilt, Oscar, Russell.
It be your own mans
Props to Wade not going with his bestie as the Goat just because.
Dwade is from Chicago. This aint news.
I wish this debate would go to bed
I agree with D Wade. I grew up near Chicago when the Bulls were winning titles. Jordan is the GOAT to me. However, when someone tells me they think LeBron is the GOAT, it’s not like it’s a crazy concept to me. I don’t think either answer is wrong.
I’m amazed that someone on Facebook will post a picture of LeBron flopping and a picture of MJ getting killed by Pistons, and you look at it, and it has 2,000 comments(or a picture of MJ getting guarded by Muggsy Bogues and Lebron dunking on Kawhi Leonard). 2,000 comments of angry 45 year old dudes yelling at angry 30 year old dudes, who are yelling back.
“Dwayne Wade declares Lebron the GOAT from heaven.”- ESPN
Michael Jordan is the GODT
Greatest of Dwyane’s time
Grew up watching MJ… played professional basketball… played with Lebron in his prime.
All I’m gonna say is D. Wade is more qualified to weigh in than most of us.
I hate that the term “my GOAT” has become a thing.
Isnt this how it is going to be anyway?
Everyone who watched MJ will say he is the goat.
Those who only saw Lebron will be split between who the goat is, the further we are removed from MJ the more people will say Lebron is the goat.
I didnt watch MJ but he still is the goat to me and I dont think there is anything lebron can do to surpass MJ at this point, since Lebrons longevity argument to me isnt enough to weigh in his favor everything else MJ has him beaten at.
For once something Wade said makes total sense. If you were lucky enough to grow up watching MJ there never will be a debate. If you missed it and all you’ve seen is post MJ & Kobe you only have one logic option LeFlop James
His opinion don’t matter because I’m still mad over 2016 dunk contest
So once Dwyane dies, MJ isn’t the GOAT anymore.
My great uncle who’s 70 says Kareem is his goat, even converted to Islam cause of him. Different generations have different perspectives I guess.
I very genuinely wish I never had to hear another GOAT conversation. This shit is so tired man
I don’t even get what would qualify Lebron as the Goat besides the media narrative to sell the “current” NBA product.
IMHO the league lost a lot of attractiveness since the previous great generation of players have dropped out over the last 10-15 years.
Some today have never watched MJ in more than. Few clips. I can totally understand why they might say Lebron.
