Murray is the second best player overall, and in many games the best, on the best basketball team in the world. In my book, that’s a superstar right there.
There are arguments to be made (e.g. Jersey sales numbers, sponsorships, shoe and fashion label deals) that no one on the Denver squad is a superstar, at least when compared to LeFamous, Curry, etc. Not even Joker.
Ultimately, who gives a sh*t… As long as we have Joker and Murray both healthy, and a good team around them, Nuggets are the team to beat for many years to come.

Murray is my favorite player, but I consider him a star. Superstar is a different tier, IMO. He’s argua ly not even a star when you look at his stats on paper.
But when it counts…whoooo boy! Playoff Murray is elite. Also, his fit with Jok is impeccable. It’s really hard for me to postulate what he would look like on another team or as the 1st option. Which again I think classifies him as merely a star.
