Dirk is amazing and obviously has a greater overall resume than bosh but I don’t think he would’ve been a better fit tbh. We needed Bosh’s defense against the spurs and Celtics and dirk wouldn’t have been able to offer that. Insane offense sure but bosh brought it on both ends and was willing to play third fiddle without complaining. He was just a more seamless fit.

Throughout his entire career Dirk was always really transparent and honest. I always respected and appreciated that from him and it’s definitely continued into his retirement. He’s a great ambassador for the game and I’m glad that he and Wade are getting along now.
