How James Harden Has Opened An Opportunity For The Toronto Raptors!

I will be discussing the latest news and rumors surrounding the Toronto Raptors. I will be discussing how James Harden forcing his way out of the 76ers has open an opportunity for the Toronto Raptors. I will also be discussing the latest news we received about Pascal Siakam this morning and why the Raptors should not trade him.

  1. It he’d sign an extension of $192 mil 4year now, do it. I doubt he would. As soon as he is able to sign a 5year $248 mil, do it. Keep him for the additional year @ 4 years remaining & 200mil left in his contract he’ll be a much better 2nd option contract than Brown.

    It buys them time.

They should be still be able to sign OG @ $35 mil/year. Plus give Scottie his max rookie extension that won’t be on the books until year after next.

  2. If Philly offers 3 first round picks I’ll take Harden for Siakiam and trade Harden to clippers at deadline. Those Philly picks will come in handy as Philly likely starts rebuilding soon.

  3. I've been saying this for one point for years. Masia looks at not only the players skills but their Character. Someone like Harding, Kyrie Irving or Ben Simmons would never fit in with the Raptors. Major drawback is Character Flaws !

  4. When you build a house , starts with digging the foundation , then framing the foundation , then pouring the cement , being patient , the longer you wait strengthens the foundation. Usually about a week. Or you can make a house out of mud…

  5. Philly would have to pay up on a harden trade because no team wants to trade for a star that doesn't want to be there, sure there's still the chance by the deadline that we could flip him to the clippers but whos to say the clippers don't just decide on a new target or decide that he's not worth trading for? then your stuck with a player whos probably going to be on a pretty big contract, who doesn't even want to be there so who knows if you'll get proper performances out of him, not to mention if a bigger named player is disgruntled or is at odds with the team/front office it affects the whole team chemistry and when your trying to retool I don't think it's a good idea to make such a rash decision

  6. Sign him to the extension asap . Signing him doesn’t mean you need to keep him the whole time . Asset retention

  7. This a hard pass. Harden would just put on a fat suit and get caught partying with Drizzy on gm day after a year

  8. I wouldn't touch James Harden and his toxic attitude with a 100 foot pole. He's well past his prime and also a prime time idiot. Like you want him around Toronto's prized youngsters.

  9. The Raptors have changed very little and are destined to play for the play in. Need to change the team and try again. I think Pascal is a good player but not for the money he is going to get next year. The Raptors are not that good at the moment, they need to change a few players.

  10. Harden and Durant have both wanted to play in Toronto we just need to wait for Westbrook to say he wants a trade and we can have another non shooter on the team lol. To b honest harden would play for his career reputation it's a contract year he is going to have a good year in the right situation

  11. These stats are from Nick Nurse offense… darko is suppose run a more inclusive offense 👍

  12. I disagree with you on this This team as constructed is a first round exit A MIDDLE OF THE PACK TEAM plus if you keep Siakum Anuoby is leaving It’s time to build around Barnes n Anuoby If you can get Bufkin Griffin n Hunter That’s a team that can grow together I like Bufkin n Griffin’s upside n Hunter when healthy stretches the floor n plays solid defense Siakum has to go Toronto Needs to put a strong competitive n competent roster around Scottie Barnes
