Knowledgeable NBA fans understand NBA owners/presidents/GMs constantly double cross players AND coaches behind the scenes. Dame signed his contract because he was told something different than what is currently being done. Regardless of your opinions on James Harden he upheld his end of a behind the scenes agreement (including the previous lower pay he took to support the franchise) and got conned by a "friend" franchise executive. This is why the concept of "player loyalty" is the biggest lie in sports. Players should keep it 100% self serving business regardless of plebeian/bot fans opinions. "Fans" will never hold executives accountable because they are behind the curtains and not on the stage. 🤷♂
