You people have no understanding of the Tobias Harris situation.
Tobi is a good player. He may even play some SF, not that the Sixers actually have some backup PFs in Reed and Petrusev.
His expiring salary is irrelevant this year. He is an ASSET because the whole point is to threaten to let it expire along with Harden.
That is how there is cap space. If Tobi was traded there would be no cap space for next summer and Harden would have leverage to get traded before the deadline.

To me this is just delayed repercussions of the Ben Simmons trade. Back then, Daryl morey stuck to his guns and signed a superstar for superstar. Now he’s dealing with what the nets would’ve been dealing with years later. I can see both sides of, Daryl wanting to honor his conversation with harden but being honest to himself and wanting to keep this ideology of trading superstar for superstar. I can also see harden being frustrated and betrayed by Morey, for not keeping his word when trade talks fell through. It’s all just a product of a losing trade back in 2022.

Harden is in his right to complain, if Morey said he’d hook him up the following contract whether it was years or money then I can see why he said what he said about Morey being a lier and you don’t need a written contract to say the truth

The contract should of been performance based
