The James Harden-Philadelphia 76ers saga continues. During an Adidas event in China, Harden ripped 76ers president Daryl Morey saying that he quote: ‘is a liar and I will never be a part of an organization that he’s a part of. Let me say that again: Daryl Morey is a liar and I will never be a part of an organization that he’s a part of.’ This came two days after the Sixers ended trade talks surrounding the ten-time All-Star. Watch film and not box scores. Those final games were not James Harden’s fault. The same Celtics made Kevin Durant look worse the year before. That was all on doc Rivers, not making any adjustments and allowing the Celtics to double team Harden and ignore Joel Embiid because of his knee injury.
I wish people would actually watch film and be educated. The Celtics are the most talented, defensive team in the league bar none. They are all 69-610 incredibly athletic hybrid style wings… “the process” tore his knee, and could not even pivot, so they went from having to double team, the most dominant player in the league to not even worrying that he could turn around and put his back to the basket. This allowed them to double team, James Harden in funnel him to his offhand every single play.
Guess what they did the same thing to Kevin Durant the year before and is Kevin Durant shot? In fact they made Kevin Durant look worse than they made James Harden look.
Kevin Durant was scoring 20 points tonight turning the ball over 5 to 8 times. Hard and put that team on his back two entire games.
What Doc Rivers did not adjust at all. That’s why he’s the most losing his coach in playoff history.

This is on the Daryl terrible business complete failures sitting here trying to defend the decisions is pointless they put themselves in this position they're responsible for keeping players relations good and if you cant move him because you signed a bad contract then thats on you.
Morey is the only person who understands Harden the person. Calling him a liar is burning a costly bridge because now Morey has little incentive to trade Harden to a contender. He will take his time and force Harden to play until the right deal comes along.

This is all wrong. The trade didn’t involve Harden opting in. It involved finding a trade partner that is willing to pay Harden, then do a sign and trade. Harden knew that wasn’t going to happen and prioritized his money. That makes it impossible to trade him.
