You can criticize the players all you want, and they deserve plenty of blame if they don't have the work ethic at the professional level….but, he's still getting offered an absurd amount of money to never improve…

Some players are just about the money. That's always been the case but more so now with the huge contracts.
* Boxing out to make sure your guy doesn’t get the rebound, even if you don’t get it.
* Setting off the ball screens to get guys open
* Running hard on the break even if you don’t get the ball
* Getting the hockey assist
* Talking on defense
* Sliding over to rotate help when an offensive player gets by your teammate
* Diving on loose balls or chasing a ball down to gain/save a possession
* Closing out strong on a shooter to ensure the shot is contested
* Taking a charge
* Moving without the ball to keep the defense honest
These are all little but important things you will rarely ever see James Harden do. He is selfish and he doesn’t play winning basketball. And that is the reason that after 14 seasons and 4 different mc, he still has not won one championship yet.

Yep, nobody EVER has talked about how selfless Harden is, he NEVER will say "i will do whatever the trsm needs me to do to win." Harden worked hard at partying with strippers, Harden worked hard at manufacturing fake fouls against defenders, Harden didn't work at perfecting his game. None of us will ever know how good Harden COULD have been, and for sure kniw Curry maxed his potential and LeBron did and Gisnnis has and Embid has and on down the list. Crazy physical gifts,and talent, but poor mental gifts.
I don't think Harden should be in the HOF, he stopped his team from reaching the Finals over and over.

As a sixers fan my gut told me this when we signed him but I hoped against hope that everyone was wrong. Unfortunately all the rumors were true. He is incredibly selfish and a terrible influence on younger guys. He was partying in Vegas with lil baby during the playoffs unlike LeBron or Kobe who were just locked in.

Harden just stains his legacy even more. I still appreciate his time in Houston, but he was never held accountable when he needed to be. As a result of that, he's turned into a spoiled crazy diva.
