  1. In season tournament is a good idea but should have more value such an automatic top 4 seed in playoffs.

  2. Hey, I have that exact hat. The only fitted Jazz hat I could find recently after my dog ate my last one.

  3. I gotta be honest, you're throwing up all these scenarios, and it's just babble to me. They're running right in one ear and out the other. I couldn't even care enough to follow what you were saying. You're like the Jazz are 3-1 and the Suns are 3-1 and I have no idea what the relevance is of anything you're saying. It's soooo boring, even hearing you talk about it.

If they wanted this to work, they needed to give it some kind of meaningful reward. $500,000 to the winners will motivate the worst players in the league, who don't make real money. End of bench rotation players and rookies. This will be like summer league games in the middle of the season.

The only real reward I could think that would work would be a playoff seeding reward. Winner of the tournament gets home court advantage in every round of the playoffs, maybe, regardless of seeding, and a guaranteed playoff spot.

I like to think about an extra first round draft pick. Maybe the 10th pick. But that motivates the team, but not the players. A player could lose their spot to a new rookie, and be traded to another team because they win. So that isn't motivation for a player.

It's got to be a boost to your playoff seeding, or nobody is going to care.

    I certainly don't.

  4. Man we could have had a healthy GG Jackson and instead we got Sensabaugh. I mean he’s definitely a good player but GG looks like with the right development he could be a contributor for a long time.

  5. With Olynyk as point guard/center the Jazz length can definitely overwhelm the defense — and perhaps the offense.
Denver proved the value of a "point center".

  6. tiebreaker is points? So teams will have their starters in finishing games even if it’s a 50 point blowout. No running out the clock.

  7. Do you think Walker Kessler could develop into a defensive player of the year and if so what does he need to do to develop into that type of player? #AskLOJ
