Man I’m tired of dame AND harden at this point😂
After displayed that 55 game monstrosity in game 5 against the nuggs Iand still lost I have wanted him on my team as a sixers 😢
I disagree with you when you said that Damian staying in Portland and mentoring the young guys would be a good story, yes in that perspective it would be, but you also could see as a star-level player that spent his entire career being loyal to a bad front office that was never able to properly build around him after 11 years(and counting).
Cant these guys just use free agency? Thats what its for. So you can choose. Like lebron.
If I was Damian I would do "quiet quitting", like how things worked out for Bradley Beal.
I would go the civilized route and abuse load management and have my production decline and hope to get sent where I wanted to go.
Until then enjoy the money they paid you. At least the Wizards weren't actively trying to replace Bradley when he was still there.
Mentor the young players 🧐 you just don't want him on the Heat in the Eastern Conference
What do you see Miami doing instead? You think they just wait for the trade deadline or add some scoring and point guard help now?
Still think he going to Miami before camp🤷🏾♂️ I don’t see how waiting till the trade deadline is gonna help them get a better offer when dame just gonna be closer to 34 by then😅
Trade Dame for Harden… or Portland should grow some balls and pair Dame with Harden they have more to offer than the clippers and won't have to give up much.
Wait too long and dame declines or gets hurt!
This new trend of stars demanded to be traded to only one team (Dame to the heat, Harden to the Clippers) sets a terrible precedent for the league. It punishes your team as your trade value drops significantly. Why should the team acquiring you give up much for you, knowing that they're not negotiating against anyone else because that's the only place that you want to go.
