RJ Barrett Has The HIGHEST CEILING On The Knicks | New York Knicks News

When you look at the Knicks, you see a lot of young talent in Quentin Grimes, RJ Barrett, Immanuel Quickley, Mitchell Robinson, Miles McBride, Jericho Sims and more. But who has the highest upside among them? Bleacher Report looked into this for every NBA team, including the New York Knicks. While you can make the argument for some of these players, I think when looking at everything together, RJ Barrett has the highest ceiling among all young players on the New York Knicks today. Troy Mahabir breaks all of this down!

  3. We’re not winning a championship with this coach and that’s just too much facts all over the Internet

  4. I agree with you Troy 💯 R should definitely get a little more opportunity to be a Point Forward because he has the ability. THIBS needs to get more creative with the offense seriously 💯

  5. Barrett, Grimes, and Quickly are all about to take a leap. The Knicks are on the verge of having several young players that are about to "pop". This could become a really dangerous team. Boys become men!

  6. I’ve got a 10 foot ceiling in my apartment but that doesn’t make it a good basketball player 😅

  7. RJ Barrett needs to have a big upcoming season. He is a good player than can become better than Jimmy Butler. Per 36 minutes RJ is 3 years ahead of Butter at the same age.

  8. I believe all of our young players have potential to improve their games. I am more leaning toward Grimes with the bigger up-side. I see Grimes becoming a version of Devin Booker if they turn him loose.

  9. Grimes need to handle the ball more. I love Thibs as our head coach, but he needs an offensive coach.

  10. We need trade Randle and picks for Zion already. Then we can talk about contending for a championship. Then I'll be happy with RJ as our 3rd guy

  11. Before anyone thinks RJ is overrated they need to consider who was drafted before him and how both of them are doing nowadays

  12. He had the ball less this pass season and still gave you damn near 20 a game … JB took a lot of his ball in hands time

  13. RJs game is cerebral and based on technique. He has to be fundamentally sound at all times because he’s not super fast, strong or athletic. That’s why it’s taking longer. Once it all comes together he will take that step. He will be good at a lot of things. He’s becoming an elite driver. Once he becomes consistent in mid range he will become a star.
