The Dallas Mavericks had one of the more underrated moves this NBA offseason. They were able to re-sign Kyrie Irving and they were able to surround him and Luka Doncic with players who could bolster a Mavs playoff run. The full NBA schedule release is out and the Dallas Mavericks can easily compete next season with additions like Grant Williams, Seth Curry, Dante Exum, and Richaun Holmes. One player that could be the Mavs’ X-factor is Australian forward Josh Green. Luka Doncic, Kyrie Irving, and the Dallas Mavericks have to do a lot to improve but they really have some solid additions this offseason and Coach Jason Kidd should be able to compete even in a stacked Western Conference.
Josh Green will play for Australia in the 2023 Fiba World Cup and he will be able to get ready before he plays an important role for the Mavs next season. Green has always been known for his defense but he has shown flashes of offensive growth both as a scorer and playmaker for Dallas. But can the Dallas Mavericks beat teams like the Denver Nuggets, Lakers, Warriors, Suns, or Clippers to go deep in the playoffs? The Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving duo will be the key but Josh Green will be one of the Mavs’ key role players.

Predict the Mavs' CEILING in the West 👇
6th seed at most
Every team needs a Josh Green type player for sure.. he is the Mavs x-factor along with Grant Williams
Other Ozzie Exum even looks better. Check their play at world tournament
Good video. The problem is Luka and Kyrie dont pass to him.
i say Dallas gets the 10th seed and lose to OKC in play-in
As shitty the Mavs were last season, they still were an tough match up for a lot of good teams last season. With the Mavs making those clutch offseason moves. I can easily see them go deep in the playoffs next season.
Mavs ceiling is top 4 seed. People will be shocked how much their defence shots up with some capable new bodies out there
