[Russo] According to @presidual: Clippers will travel 3,604 miles more than the next closest team (Brooklyn). That’s the same difference as Brooklyn (second) to Golden State (tenth).

That’s like an extra 90 miles per road game. It sounds like a big number but I don’t think it’s that big of a deal.

  2. That’s it this is absolutely rigged against the clippers, they’d be clearly 4 peating if this was a fair league smh

  3. _massaiwalker

Probably the last season of this nonsense since our new arena will be done next season

  4. This is the same as just taking 1 extra trip to New York isn’t it?

  5. dildosagginsthe2nd

Oh no an extra 15 minutes on a private plane between games, absolutely inhumane. They don’t get paid enough to put up with this.

  6. throwawayjoeyboots

They literally get extra home games in the same building lol. Don’t feel too bad

  7. Wonder what the Wolves number is, surprised they aren’t #1

  8. commandrr

Craziest part is that two of their “road” games are technically home games.

  9. NotClayMerritt

Well Kawhi isn’t going to play many games this season.

  10. Smasher31221

Most of those miles are spent in the air and it’s split over an entire season. We’re talking like 20 minutes a week.

  11. thebedwizard93

Kawhi’s knees have left the chat

  12. opeth2310

Will the Clippers ever catch a break!!

  13. giraffesbluntz

So basically an extra 4-5 hours of flight time

  14. Scrypto

Brooklyn being 2nd is pretty shocking. Most teams in the northeast corridor/midwest are really close so they must’ve gotten some pretty horrible home/away turnarounds

  15. Individual_Attempt50

no idea why we are 2nd in travel, must be something to do with 2 teams in new york city

  16. rake2204

Fun fact: When the Miami Heat first joined the NBA, they were added to the Western Conference, where their closest conference opponent (Houston) was still nearly 1,000 miles away.

The Heat [ended up traveling over 60,000 miles](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VLQhjt0FPpM&ab_channel=RyanVanDusen) that year, which would be 10,000 more miles than the Clippers are set to travel this year.

  17. Will traveling less miles help Kawhi stay on the court? No? Then who tf cares.

  18. TheIgnoredWriter

Thank god most of them will be compensated with millions of dollars for their efforts

  19. RandomStranger79

Punishment for all the load management.

  20. scarvana

Who cares, it’s not like they’ll win anything…

  21. almostansn

I mean it aint like Kawhi nor PG gon travel given their track record anyway so, cheaper flight and hotel costs for the Clips

  22. Damn quit giving these fans excuses for the inevitable choke job

  23. beatrailblazer

Portland travelled the most for like 3 years straight and no one said anything but now that any other team gets the most, they throw a tantrum

  24. icem4n69

This is more because the clippers dont have priority at staples. They have the 2nd most back to back games again. The new stadium will help with this

  25. theseustheminotaur

Oh no they have to spend more time on private planes than the other guys. We should feel bad for them

  26. KUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUZ

makes sense, they bumming oout in ourr house and we get first priority.

Although I do plan to catch a clipper game when they move to their new stadium just so that I can block one of ballmers many toilets.

  27. N0rTh3Fi5t

But only half of the clippers play each game, so it will more or less work out the same as other teams

  28. PopsSpurs

Seriously what is this… 8 hours of flight time spread across a whole season? Somehow don’t think this is a big deal.

  29. phickss

So, six more hours on a private jet. Oh the humanity
