It's year 5 already wake up Knicks fans it never takes this long to become a star even if your only 23 n played 4 seasons already

It took Randle 8 years to get to where he's at. You can argue that RJ has significantly more upside than Randle and about 5 years younger.
He's in his early 20s, so there's still time for him to take that leap into becoming an all-star and 3rd or even 2nd option on a contender.
It really starts with becoming consistent on both sides of the ball, doesn't need to be elite on either end but just needs to do both well.
It depends on Thibs too, has to make sure that's RJ not just in a position to flourish but to also help the team win.
