Harden and critics have to consider that nobody wants him badly enough that they'd give up valuable assets to attain him. You can't blame Morey if nobody is giving anything up to get him. Are Sixers supposed to trade him for nothing? Come on! Harden can't accept that nobody wants to bet on him anymore. He doesn't show up in the playoffs, sooo, …..what good is he? Stars show up when it matters, and Harden has never showed up when it mattered. At 33, GM's have to ask themselves, "If he hasn't showed up by now, will he ever?" And am I, as a GM, willing to bet my job on him showing up? Harden thinks he's still got it! …but evidently, the Clippers don't. That's not Morey's fault. I'm on Morey's side here. Morey works for the Sixers. Not for Harden.

Morey didn’t give up much to get Harden from Brooklyn. Ben Simmons has been a complete non-factor in Brooklyn. Seth Curry is the only solid player Brooklyn got in that trade (when healthy). Harden is entitled and on the downside of his career, but he’s been better than Ben Simmons. He’s not even giving Brooklyn elite defense at this point. This wasn’t a Rudy Gobert type trade.
Embiid never plays well in the playoffs. Get rid of him and Harden ass, period!
Does Harden understand he is tanking his own trade value?
Morey is an analytics fraud. He doesn’t get human beings.
I never thought I would get here but the NBA players disrespecting the fans actually makes me want them to lose guaranteed contracts.
I don’t begrudge them getting ever penny they are worth. Short careers and they get paid based off how much money their talents generate.
But if players don’t honor contracts then owners shouldn’t either.
That’s why I don’t get mad when NFL players hold out to get more money. But that’s why the NFL is a healthier league.
It’s not politics – cause most people saying that weren’t NBA fans to begin with. It’s this and load management.

KD hurt the NBA. People wanna see competition – not just a team that can’t lose unless they get injured, which is what happened.
The basketball gods denied LeBron and KD a three-peat. It’s karma.
Now LeBron pays media people to gaslight younger fans that he is better than he is and disrespects many other greats on a regular basis, and I like LeBron I just don’t like how he acts trying to twist the narrative all the time. KD is the same way.
They were both great players – they didn’t have what Jordan and Kobe had. No one did.
Jordan is on the level of Brady, Ali, Gretzky, and Hank Aaron.
And that’s ok. If LeBron wasn’t obsessed with doing his corny crown thing and calling himself “the goat” no one would care.
But he jumped from team to team and doesn’t have that deep connection to any fanbase – he should of stayed in Cleveland but that’s how it goes.
But all this is why the fans are mad. Rob is spot on. They need to make 60 games and have the players play. The NFL has the least games and makes the most money.
It’s like Netflix – don’t have more of a bad product and hurt the brand. Less but higher quality is ALWAYS better.
LeBron never doing the dunk contest Vs Jordan and Kobe doing it is a microcosm for what’s changed. Watch the competitiveness of the 2001 ALLSTAR game – AI and Kobe and Kidd and Stephan Marbury – Vs now it’s unwatchable cause they don’t care.
It used to mean something to win ALLSTAR MVP. The ALLSTAR weakened is for the fans. The players saying “well give me more money” is gross.
I never thought I would side with ownership in any sport but the NBA needs to get rid of guaranteed contracts. Give the players every penny they deserve just not guaranteed – make it like the NFL. Cause the players are abusing it openly and it’s hurting the league.
Jordan made 3 mill a year – look what it was when he left. Magic and Bird and Jordan.
Shaq said players now should send Jordan 10% of their check and he is correct.
Realize when Jordan was here how big the NBA was – 3x the ratings. The dream team.
