Jett Howard Is Better Than You Think.

When the Orlando Magic took Michigan wing Jett Howard with the 11th overall pick. It was met with criticism. Howard was viewed by most as a guy projected to go in the 15-20s range. But honestly I loved this pick for Orlando. Mainly because I was higher on Jett Howard than most others
I thought he was one of the ten best players in the draft. And honestly I would’ve loved the pick if the Magic took him at 6th overall. In my opinion he’s the best rookie on the Magic, and also the one that brings a more immediate impact due to his skillset. On top of that, I think he has more upside than given credit for.

Jett Howard is a 6’8″ 215lb wing that can play the 2 and the 3. He’s a great shooter with incredible shot versatility. But he is more than that. He has a good handle and legit creation upside, and he’s a good connecting passer. I think he could be a similar caliber player to Desmond Bane, Trey Murphy III, Michael Porter Jr, and Cam Johnson.
