Donovan Mitchell might be playing his last season for the Cleveland Cavaliers, if rumors are to be believed, with a possible move to the New York Knicks within a year being a real possibility.

  1. Dude everybody needs to chill out. He has two more seasons in cleveland. Let’s talk next summer.

  2. Cavs need Mobley to make a big leap to truely compete in the east mitchell cant be the best player and them truely compete for a title

  3. I’m a lifelong Cavs fan. I always will be. And as much as I really like Donovan Mitchell, I’m not going to hold my breath that he’s going to be in Cleveland long term. I hope we can make a playoff run, but I doubt we’ll win a championship anytime soon

  4. Well they do need post season success but if Mitchell plays as badly as he did against the knicks in this years playoffs then we won’t get any

  5. He just wants to be Lebron if he leaves he’s gonna want back after 2-3 seasons of no winning when darius Allen and Mobley are at their best hopefully he just rides it out and grows with them tbh I’d take garland over Mitchell

  6. I hate to say this, but it was pretty obvious to me the Cleveland was always only going to be a temporary spot for Mitchell that he accepted as a way out of Utah.

  7. I'm getting soooo tired of this conversation. Donovan has literally said nothing about wanting out or made any indication that this is going to happen. The media and all these youtubers are really trying to push this narrative for some reason. He didn't even request a trade out of Utah, what makes people think he'g going to ask out of a team with a better and younger roster?

  8. As a Cavs fan, it’s really easy to be skeptical about the future of Mitchell in Cleveland, especially after dealing with LeBron leaving twice. However he’s been embracing Cleveland to the max. Sure in some ways he would like to be in NY, but his current situation is the most optimal, with two maybe three all star players on the team, not to mention the max extension he’ll be offered. I also despise NY biased media pushing false narratives about his potential departure

  9. Thank you for this. A sports channel about sports instead of a bunch of high voice harpies screeching at each other is a good find.

  10. Don Mitchell must be traded to NY Knicks for Joel Embiid trades Knicks-Cavs-Sixers 🥱👏

  11. Cleveland just got outcoached. Teams give up after one or two years that's why they suck. They are close to a title.

  12. I think the Cavs are a very great team right now. Young, but very talented. Mitch leaving would be a mistake on his part if you ask me.

  13. Here is a possibility you didnt think of…

Only the team that drafted him would be able to give him a 35% max extension next summer… the Cavs cant. At least not untill he is 9 years in the league. Hence why I think he will resign with a shorter extension. Most likely a 2+1 30% Max extension next summer, with a PO in year 3. Means then he is eligible or a 5 year Supermax extension in 2026 starting in 2027. And if the Cavs dont want to pay him, or he wants to leave, he can request a trade at that time, while being 29 and in the middle of his prime.

I really dont see the Cavs trading him this season whatsoever. And I also do not see him signing a 5 year 30% Max extension next summer. I would even say no matter the team he is on. It would just make no sense money wise for him. Whats more realistic. Him signing a Supermax Extension starting at age 30, and then getting near max monex later on in his career, or playing on a 30% Max till he is 33 and to hope to get another near Max 5 year extension at that age? Exactly…

  14. If he becomes a trade me or i sit out whiner he will lose all respect from me

  15. lesson is be a seller, not a buyer. The guys you trade for seem to be ever unhappy. Some team will be stupid enough to trade for him, and he will shortly unhappy at the new team.

  16. Hello, Cavaliers fan here:

Cleveland needs to move on from JB Bickerstaff. He’s a decent regular season coach but he’s not going to get us over the hump.

JB Bickerstaff is 2-8 in the playoffs and 5 of those losses were by 20 or more points. I love him but this team needs a coach that can actually formulate a halfcourt offense.

All of our young players are about to enter their primes and Donovan Mitchell is one of the best scorers in the league, we need to have a coach that can do more.

  17. We don’t want him !!!! What’s he done the last two years ??? Lose to Jalen Brunson . I’m super good !!!!!!
