[Charania] As part of NBA probe into his “liar” comment, James Harden told league investigators he was referring to Daryl Morey telling Harden he will trade him “quickly” following the $35.6 million opt in for 2023-24, per sources. The 76ers’ stance now is they expect to keep Harden.

It’s kind of sad that this is the best news we’ve gotten all off-season
This is making Harden looks real bad.
He had the option to opt out and join clippers with MLE. The reason he opted in was because he wanted more than MLE.
Nobody cajole him into picking up the option. He picked up his option because he wanted to maximize his financial gain, not because Morey promise he would trade him to his desire destination quickly
I’m assuming this is also rooted in Harden having an unrealistic view on what his trade value / demand is
Back pedaling
Snitches get Stitches James
Everyone wanted to know “Why did Harden opt in” and now we know. Expected to get traded fast and Morey decided against it. Pretty simple
So harden is fucked. Cool.
James really thought he was doing something with that little performance in China lol
Of course he’s not going to talk about a handshake agreement, cause then they’re both going down

Wow, this could not have been any more uneventful lol
Almost like it was all too gain attention and sell some wine.
Almost like it was bullshit from the start
Different definitions of quickly isn’t a lie
50% effort angry harden is bad for this team. Morey should trade him now before Embiid makes him do it

He stays!!
