“I’m excited for Vooch. There’s not many starting centers in the NBA. So if Vooch were to go away, how would you replace him? Those options were just not appealing to us. So retaining him became the No. 1 goal of the offseason.”

“Billy’s been terrific from day one. And I see no reason to believe that will change. He continues to communicate with our players. He’s communicative with Arturas and I, daily, weekly, whatever is going on. I think he’s an excellent head coach. One of the things that brings us great comfort is the way he communicates with our players. Everybody understands their role. Everybody knows what’s expected of them. And he continues to have conversations with those guys to ensure that there are no gaps. When you have a head coach who does that for you on a daily basis it brings you great comfort.”

    Starting Carter for now, hit teams early with D, then White off the bench to channel NBA greats Wilt, Magic, Jordan, Koby to put a symbolic dagger into the spirit of the opponets

    London Ball said on Trae Young's podcast that he feels like he's on track to recovery now after getting the right surgery. Maybe 2024 is his year?!

    I agree with you Pat cmon signing Vooch should not had been a priority yea there’s not many bigs on any team cause the center position is similar to RB position in the NFL it’s not a necessity any more unless the big is Embid or Giannis or Joker the other bugs making big impacts are defensive minded Vooch is definitely replaceable and if they would’ve drafted Walker Kessler instead DTerry Vooch this wouldn’t be a discussion
