Bleacher Report’s predictions. Here’s the listing of every team they think will finish below .500, from worst to best:

# Blazers 14-68

* Spurs 23-59
* Wizards 25-57
* Pistons 26-56
* Rockets 30-52
* Hornets 34-48
* Raptors 36-46
* Bulls 37-45
* Magic 37-45
* Jazz 38-44
* Pacers 38-44
* Thunder 40-42

Nuggets, Suns, Celtics, Warriors, Bucks, and Heat are all pegged to have 50+ wins.

The Blazers picked to be *NINE GAMES WORSE than the 2nd worst team* in predicted wins?

I realize that these pre-pre-season prognostications are fairly worthless, but in Portland’s case it would make sense to have two predictions: 1.) With Dame staying, and 2.) With Dame leaving, either before the season starts or worse, during the regular season.

Thoughts? And more importantly, what are your predictions and expectations?

    I don’t see how we’re that much worse than the Wizards. Ant > Poole and Grant > Kuz. That alone should put us around the same win totals.

    Exactly where we should be. We need one more year of tank at least for a good center

    We are gonna be bad that is for sure, but I don’t see how they can look at our roster and think we are going to be process 76ers levels of bad.

    I’d rather be worst in the NBA then first round bounce. I’d rather be worst in the NBA then fifth worst in the NBA. Worst vs second round is arguable. Basically that would be a dream come true since conference finals or better isn’t on the table.

    I agree that there’s a strong chance we’ll be terrible, but my money is on the wizards as the worst team haha

    I think the Blazers would be closer to 25 wins and Wizards have the worst roster.

    The point right now IS to be the worst team…

    We’re running out all guard lineups, no bench, no center, and trying to tank. The roster is abysmal, the coach is terrible. It’s hard to win less than 20 games, it’s pretty rare. But this team might have what it takes.

    This is pretty spot on depending what is done with Dame. Once they trade Dame and maybe JG this team will be the worse team in the league. Even if that didn’t happen it’s at best a play in team. There is no size. You gonna have a bunch of players playing out of position. What’s crazy is if Dame isn’t dealt the blazers are gonna be so undersized. Any team with size will dominate them

    In my dreams the Lakers make history and have a winless season and the pick is a total bust.

    The Blazers need to be the worst team for another 2-3 years. Let’s do a proper rebuild. No more retooling and being mediocre.
