The final game of the preseason for the Cleveland Browns is set for Friday and Kevin Stefanski says the team’s starters will play “20-25” snaps.
Is that enough of a run up to Week 1 to make you feel comfortable Deshaun Watson, Amari Cooper & the other 20 starters will be ready for the Bengals? Should Stefanski let them play even more?
The Browns restructured Joel Bitonio’s contract over the weekend, opening up nearly $8 million in cap space. What’s Andrew Berry’s plan for the extra capital?
How should Kevin Stefanski handle the Cade York situation with the other 52 guys in the locker room? Is he babying the 2nd year kicker too much?
Was Kyle Brant on to something when he said it’s hard to talk about the Browns, or is he way off his rocker with this take?
Plus, Baker Mayfield may have gotten robbed of $12 million and Bull swears he’s innocnet.
Lastly, a recap of the WKYC softball game from Sunday.

Bitonio don’t get that benefit of a doubt
To Petty LeBull, the Super Bowl winning team deserves an A+, and every other team gets an F…
If Deshawn Watson gets hurt early in the second half, of the upcoming preseason game these same commentators would flip out and question why Stefanski left him in for so long. We've seen it over and over.
Earl needs more camera time, love what he brings to the table,,,,great discussion today about pre-season playing time and if Andrew Berry is a good GM. Today's panel was hitting on all cyclinders…….I saw points in every one's argument, even Adam the Boar (always have to remember he's not a Browns fan, he's a Bengals fan)….lol……Go Browns.
Bull u so fucking negative!!!Worry about Burrow!!
Josh Allen played the first have Saturday against Pittsburgh so why wouldn't Watson play
To be fair to Bull:
NONE of the moves are 'great' until they produce on the Field.
Watson wasn't great over 6 Games in 2022. That said, if he gets back to 2020 Watson… that move alone makes Berry's Career.
Martin Emerson produced very well as a Rookie… CURRENTLY he's a 'Good Pick'. He's got to stay at that level and progress. We'll see.
Smith's only concern is injury… on the field he produces at an ELITE clip. It's ONLY Smith and Garrett who have 10+ Sacks in each of the Last 4 Seasons… we have the ONLY Two guys who did that. But he's got to go out there and get them Sacks for the Browns now.
Elijah Moore didn't produce much in New York… and we CAN blame the QBs partially for that. But the point is, he's here now. And if Watson is 'Good Watson', he's got no QB excuses. He's GOT to produce for Cleveland.
Bull isn't wrong here. We're all PROJECTING these were Good Moves… and Emerson is until proven otherwise. These other guys, they have to do it for the Browns now. Once they do that, these moves are Certified Good. Until then, it's all just Projection.
So I get Bull's point.
On Cade:
Believe it or not, he Outkicked the Opposition in Cleveland.
His 62.5% in Cleveland is Ugly, but his Opponents only managed 60%. And the Ravens Kicker only managed 1/3 at Cleveland in 2022.
Which just makes what Phil Dawson did in Cleveland that much more amazing.
On Kicking Competition:
You have that in Camp. If York is being replaced, it's After Cut Downs. There are Teams with Multiple Kickers right now having their own Competition. Once Cuts happen, you have a LOT more Kickers to choose from.
Taking snaps away from York in Pre-Season doesn't help him try to develop and get on point. If we bring a guy in Post-Cuts, that won't be a Competition… that will be the New Kicker. Of course we will do a Try Out with them first to see.
Bringing in a guy during the Pre-Season only means two things… (1) You don't give York the Reps he needs and (2) you select from a smaller pool of Kickers when there may be better options Post-Cuts.
If we replace York, we want the Best Kicker Possible… right now, we don't even know who the Best Kickers AVAILABLE will be Post-Cuts.
And lastly, the Chiefs Won the Super Bowl. Their Kicker was 75% on the Season. To be fair, he nailed 2 Game Winners in the Play Offs (including the Super Bowl)… but he was 75% on the Season. In other words, you can survive your Kicker IF you're just THAT GOOD. What did we pay Watson for, why did we bring Smith in? To be THAT good.
Where does G keep getting 238 from? His contract is 230. He’s said this on multiple shows.
Im so sick of this kicker issue. stop talking about it! Nobody knows the history of kickers and how bad all of them have been, except for Phil.. We have not had success with kickers EVER!!!! Phil was the only one that had consistency, and hes not a HOFer. All of this talk about Phil, how good was Phil, he was above average and we love him for it. Nobody is coming in here lighting it up, stop acting like thats going to happen one day. You better not let this kid go, Im telling you right now, itll be a mistake. We are in no situation to be fucking picky, because kicker has never been good in Cleveland. If you let him go, good luck, because the musical chairs of bad fucking kickers will continue. Just look at the kickers who donned Browns gear since 1946. Phil is the only standout, but ya'll know about football though, just not enough about the history of kickers here, and its painfully obvious. Alsovdont give me shit about Lou Groza, a career 54% kicker.. shut up!!!
bull- i love you fat or skinny
Earl is emotional but jesus christ use examples. I don't care about feelings. Name players, name trades, do your research before you get owned again by Bulls bad arguments. Showed Jed Wills levels of preparedness for this episode.
If you have to rely on "it's my opinion" you've lost and get yourself off the screen for a few months.
What are yall talkin about? DPJ was in on each series the starters played and he was set at punt returner a couple times.
Is Bull getting fatter?
Cleveland is a step up from Detroit
Stefanski is doing the right thing. We don’t want to see any starters get injured before the season starts. We can’t risk it. What’s hard to understand about that. Y’all gotta relax because if a starter got hurt before the season starts, we would all be devastated and saying that it was dumb for playing the starters. Y’all need to be realistic. They practice everyday. They’ll be alright not being in the preseason games. The game against the chiefs will be enough.
I can’t with Bull, AB goes shopping for prime ingredients he’s not the chef
Bring back the white masks
Damn Bull, let them speak!
Get‘em Earl! Man of my own heart. Bull is entertaining but he does not represent the Cleveland fan base.
Bull your takes on the browns be suspect at best! Your bangles Gm been trash until there draft of Joe Burrow in the Lamar Chase so just relax…
Earl just tooling on Bull. Bull thinks he can interrupt and bully his point across. Bull just ruins the show. Takes one little point about undrafted picks and tries to go after Earl with that because he knows he can’t win the argument. So exhausting. Bull has to go. Please!!! This show is supposed to be fun but Bull ruins it all the time.
Love that Earl stuck to his guns….Bull thinks if he talk over people his point will be only one….Earl said that shit ain't flying today!!!
Really good discussion guys. Looking forward to the season. Go Browns!!
Earl the Pearl knows his shit so does G , keep these guys for every show
Andrew berry is a good GM. There’s a reason we go into every season with a top tier roster. Why it doesn’t work out is leadership on the field; coaching and no players that want to lead.
Earl and Mikey, these two are becoming anchors on this show. Doing a good job fella's along with the elders of the show.
