Lonzo Ball will miss the 2023-24 season

Bulls’ Lonzo Ball says he’s ‘on track’, confirms he’ll miss 2023-24 season

So far in his career he’s played 252 out of a possible 472 possible games. 252/472 = 53.4%.

With this missed season it becomes 252/554 = 45.5%.

This dude legitimately has old man knees, if not worse, in his mid 20s, that’s crazy.

we already knew this back in like may?? whenever he got that surgery or whatever. their hope was always he comes back next year.

This is truly unfortunate. At least Lonzo managed to get a decent contract, but it’s unfortunately at the Bulls’ expense.

one ball left hopefully he will survive

  5. That’s like a guy drafted in 2007 missing the 2013-14 season.

He looked very promising. Very sad

On a positive note, I like that they tell us in advance of the entire season.

  8. I’ll always appreciate watching the dudes who actually put in the work on their game and constantly get better every season like Lonzo. Sad man he was starting to look like he could be something close to what the expectations were coming out of college if he could stay healthy.

He’s real hooper, I fr hope he catches a break and makes a comeback a la Shaun Livingston.

Lonzo was the Ball brother I was rooting for the most. I always knew Lamelo had the most upside, but I like the way Lonzo plays the game. The league needs more guys like him. He definitely doesn’t deserve this.

Dude is a multi millionaire if he didn’t fack up his finances

He needs that late 2000s to mid 2010s Phoenix Suns training staff

Lavar should have give his sons better leg genetics. My dad did…

Even that kind of under sells it. Lonzo missed the last 47 games of the 2021-2022 season, all of 2022-2023, and now all of 2023-2024. In the event that he even attempts a comeback after that, it would mean he is doing so after missing 211 straight games.

As much as i would love to see it, it’s hard to see a scenario where he can come back to play at the NBA level.

Damn, dude gotta be wondering if he keeps pushing it. Dude was having trouble walking up stairs with his daughter. Comfort of life outside ball is important

What a massive hole in our roster goddam

  16. MrRosaDiaz

That’s a damn shame. Dude is legitimately fun to watch as a playmaker/passer. It’s just too bad we’ll likely never see him on the court again

Mans getting paid though. Maybe some euro team will take him after his contract is done

Dude got paid and then said y’all know my knees done right, ight I’m out

Curious on how many have received similar transplants and how they ended up

  20. BlackMathNerd

I’m just praying his career goes the Shaun Livingston route and he can be a productive player again

  21. H20onthego

Where is the LeBron James of knees when you need him 🙁

  22. IsGoingTTaM

Did the BBB shoes really kill his knees…

  23. Derrick Rose’s knees are like LeBron James’s knees compared to Lonzo Ball’s knees.

  24. redd5ive

Thank all that is holy this guy signed a sizable deal before all of this.

  25. SukiCard

Can he make a comeback like Shaun Livingston or nah?
