I feel like the warning signs for a scandal like this would have come up during the vetting process if it was Darko who requested these files. This just seems like a dumb employee making an incredibly obtuse decision rather than something more malicious in intent.

More importantly does this man even know what Beltran did? It was sign stealing while being a player, why wouldn’t they reference Chris Correa who got 46 months for breaching the Houston Astros database while he was a member of the Cardinals front office. Which seems exactly the same thing.

I would like to think Rajakovic is not this level of stupid. The risk reward attached to this does not seem to be in the ballpark of acceptable for a multi-millionare NBA head coach. For a video/analytics development assistant it’s a whole different story. It’s likely Azotam acted alone for his own personal benefit. Time will tell I guess.
If Darko asked its probably damning enough and with all the things it might be enough for MLSE to move on from everybody.
