  1. I loved the Lonzo addition, Him & Caruso anchored the defense which lacked rim protection & versatility. His injury showed the need for a 2-way playmaker in Chicago

  2. I will buy 100% that the Bulls end the season with 50 or so wins if Zo doesn't go down and finish with a home court advantage. The entire sentiment would be different around the team. Its hard to pivot when you get a young prospect you want for a decade+ to build with and he potentially ends his career after half a season. At this point it is what it is and I don't blame AKME. We had a framework to build from and have to radically pivot without a teardown. Any FO is gonna look like garbage if that is what they are working with, and we would also question them if one injury to the 4th best player on our team causes a reset a season or two later. Like it or not, we have to watch how this plays out over time.

  3. I've handled AK with kid gloves because they couldn't have forseen Lonzo's injury. We needed a true PG and oldman Pat Bev made it obvious.

  4. I now have more appreciation for AKME for their tenure. They built a roster for Lonzo and it worked until Lonzo went down.
Next season, they tried to make what was left work while Lonzo is out but it didn't. To make matters worse, Lonzo never came back. That's why they had to bring in Pat Bev when they were sure Lonzo's not coming back.
Now this season they're sure Lonzo's not coming back but they're left in a tough position to build a roster around Zach and Demar, or find a replacement for Lonzo which is hard to do. I was never a Lonzo fan but I have more appreciation for his game too, seeing what happened to the Bulls when he went down.

I still trust AKME. They had a plan that worked but was derailed by injuries at most important position.

  5. I'll admit, not a big fan of Lonzo at first. Overhyped and he got outplayed by De'aaron Fox in college. Wasn't sure how to feel about the trade at first. But yup, he made this team better. Hoping he and Lamelo can play against each other soon.

  6. Cut lonzo ball. Take the loss. As a die hard bulls fan I don't want him associated with the organization. I don't feel bad for him because he has generational wealth. Get him out of here. It was different for D Rose bc he won mvp and actually did stuff for the city of Chicago

  7. Hey Jamaal I believe I’ve commented on a post before but there is growing media reports on the white Sox being sold by the Reinsdorfs. I’m not too sure how familiar you are with the team but one of the big things that happened is that fans stopped going to games they had the largest fall of in fan attendence by far in any team . There is some weird obsession by bulls fans that there is no way that a billionaire will sell the team which may be true but the logic used by fans is so baffling. The fact that people think because they didn’t really respond to a billboard (even though companies have reported that the Reinsdorf family were putting pressure on companies to strip the billboard down) that immediately means that if fans both online and in person established some form of campaign and try to establish why it’s atrocious and disgraceful to even consider going to games under this ownership. Protest and stop going to games is an effective way to put pressure and protest against ownership and although it might not guarantee a sale of the Chicago bulls people underestimate the impact social media has on sponsorships stock prices and overall reputation of an organisation. If bulls fans protested online channel like yourself haize and chgo sports as well as Kenny made videos I would not be surprised if that impacts the fan attendence of the bulls (they’d definitely not finish first in fan attendance which is surprising) and lead to a snowball effect leading to national media representation and putting pressure on the bulls even more. Idk perhaps it’s to optimistic of me but considering the volatility of the current sports market with the influx of income through foreign countries(saudi ties with wizards ownership) and overall takeovers having left right and centre it feels like the perfect opportunity for the community to come together and try to form some kind of protest and stop going to games. Trust me the model of the reinsdorfs is to stay competitive to maximise ticket and tv money if fans stop going to games that impacts them severely.

  8. Very well done video. Perfectly said, imo. There have been moves that AKME have made that i havent agreed with, but Lonzo i was on board with 100%. I warmed up to him during his time with the Pels. I dont know if that team was a true contender or not, not sure if the style of play was sustainable. But they were much better than I had expected to be. They were fun to watch, they played together as a unit. I was proud of that team, regardless if they were true contenders or not. You slowly started to see that identity dwindle once we lost lonzo, and now we have this. It's been tough to watch, but i have also been supportive of AKME because i knew he was on the right path. Up until this offseason knowing we arent getting lonzo back. It is time to start over.

  9. I'm going to disagree that the comparisons to Garpax aren't warranted. Both took over ailing franchises that hadn't seen relevancy in a number of years. Both brought them back to the playoffs, both had young ascending PG's who they thought could bring them even high, both had those PG's go down to catastrophic inquiries, and both haven't recovered. The only difference is time. Garpax was just in the job longer. Pax in particular had more success, but again I think that may be due to time. Even outside of that they seem to have very similar almost contemptuous relationships with the media, both seem to think the bulls fan base don't have eyes at times. To AKME's credit at least they'll hire real coaches and not some dudes friend. Even as someone who isn't a fan of Donavan he's not Boylen or Hoiberg.

  10. Brings in an injury prone pg….pg gets injured……"this could have never been seen"……

  11. running it back isnt the problem its the need for a legit PG….everyone else in the country can see that except for our front office. Its literally the missing piece and they just choose to pretend like we dont need it.

  12. The front office took a big gamble trading for a very talented but injury prone player and they lost and are still losing and losing and losing.

  13. I think people forget how great this team looked with Ball and I disagree that our roster wasn’t elite. Our record in 21 with Ball was 22-13 with wins over Utah, @ Boston, Brooklyn, Dallas, @ Clippers, @ LA, @ Denver, @ NY, we were beating good and bad teams with Ball and most of the wins mentioned we out scored them by 10 points. AKME put together a great roster but unfortunately had no backup plan.
