this went well for us then. except now he’ll just be angrier lmfao

Harden is really about to come to training camp with his tail tucked between his legs because he has burned too many bridges to force Morey’s hand.

    Fat bum

Yet another in a series of complicated plot twists on today’s episode of “Days of our Lives.”

The team should pay the fine as an olive branch

Damn it will really hurt for him to lose an entire night at a strip club’s worth of cash

He fucked up. He legitimately could have gotten a big contract next summer from some team if he just shut the fuck up and balled out this season. And we have the MVP and legit chance at a championship (well not so much anymore)? Idk wtf he actually wants, money or a ring?

I’m sure the Sixers would be happy to ask the commish to waive the fine for just a small act of “STFU and show up to camp”.

What GM in their right mind would give up anything of significant value for Harden? A team that allows their star players to dictate personnel decisions are Morey’s only hope. Maybe a contender that gets hammered by injuries in pre-season would take Harden. This situation just screams “Clippers”.

People cheering this are the definition of cutting your nose off to spite your face. Then they will wonder why embiid walked away from the dysfunction

    Trade harden now

Harden misplayed this at every turn.

He tanked his own trade value, to the point no one wants him. A trade is practically impossible without the Sixers taking on players that would hurt them long turn.

He ranked his future market value. He’ll never receive a big contract again. Not only is he physically diminished, but GMs also have to consider he might put them on blast if they don’t cater to his every whim like he’s still a megastar.

He also tanked his reputation in the late stages of his career. He’s asked out before, for reasons that could be justified. Here it’s just that he thinks he’s worth far, far more than anyone is willing to pay him, and so he is throwing a tantrum. The Clippers don’t want him that bad, the Rockets refused him, and so he’s lashing out because his market is gone.

  11. On a side note, do not listen to the idiots on the NBA sub pulling mental gymnastics to avoid being wrong about what Harden was talking about with the lying shit. No, James Harden and his agent did not “get on the same page” and change his story to prevent future under the table negotiations from getting exposed.

I’m going to say it one more time. Players will fully agreed to 4 year max deals don’t leak the Houston info on Christmas (when he and the team were playing their best), he doesn’t even explore going to other teams, and he doesn’t hire an agent for the first time since his last contract negotiation in 2017. The events and timing of these events make zero sense for a player with a deal on the table from a GM he has a long term relationship with.

100k huh? I bet Harden has that in the seat cushions of his second home…

Why oh why do we continue to sign/draft players with the emotional intelligence of a tube sock

If you look up “Actual Idiot” on Google I’m sure James Harden should be at the top of the list

  15. How tf is this happening again barely 2 years later

He made more than the fine selling wine/gear in China after those comments. Still gets paid his contract and gets to be on a good team. He’ll ball out like he always does and will get a good contract next summer. 12D chess move by the goat on this one.
