  1. I really don’t care cp3 not being on this list us actually ridiculous. Was the best pg in the game from 08-14 and still was a top 10 player until he left the clippers. (Celtics fan)

  2. Jason, you need your own channel. The reason I don't subscribe to The Volume is because of the other videos here are underwhelming (aside from Draymond Greed). You would easily be one of the top NBA youtubers if you went solo. Perhaps you can when your contract is over. And you should!

  3. Dwight was in those conversations but CP3 wasn’t?!????? 😂😂😂😂😂 this is blasphemy beyond belief

  4. no cp3?? he finished top 5 n mvp 5 times. he was def top 10 for for 10 years. 11 all-nba (3 1st team 6 2nd team 2 3rd team) 9 all-defense (7 1st team 2 2nd team)

  5. In his heart Jason knew Jordan is the goat but to comfortably oust him from the conversation and put his favourite player in top spot he carefully curated top 25 players in last 25 years. We know the answer buddy we know. Jordan is The Jordan is the Jordan.

  6. Jimmy Butler over CP3 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

  7. Again making excuses for embiid with "injiries"…THE biggest nonsens ever, like other players are all 100% healthy…Every playoffs his stats goes down when he faces a good team, because he got NO back to the basket game, can't shoot 3s, can't pass…his game is just midrange and floping…His game is LIMITED, and he is OVERRATED and not that good when the serious basketball is being played…
Also he is SOFT, doesn't have IT…PJ Tucker had to scream in his face to not be scared and shoot…lol..
In game 6 when he had 30 he was fine…untill the 4th quarter when he was "injured"…and than game 7….just STOP IT!

  8. love the podcast, watch most episodes buts this video really made me lose abit of faith in Jasons analysis. How can someone who usually breaks the game down so well be caught up in narratives instead of trying harder to understand why certain players careers played out as they did. One example being tracey mcgrady, who was on a team that had darrell armstrong and drew gooden as the second best player and was robbed of playing with grant hill and then prone with injuries from 2006 onward. I get taxing someone for not being healthy but their situation should be factored in instead of blindly looking at playoff success. cp3 top 15 at least.

  9. jimmy is way to high. spolstra has a lot to do with his success. why didnt he make any noise on the bulls, wolves, or 76ers.

cp3 has more 30 point playoff games and averaged close to 10 ast for his playoff career

  10. Jimmy career over all these MVPs is wild. Yeah, he great when he is carrying a team through the playoffs.. but over MVPs? Sheesh

  11. I typically really resonate with your analysis, typically its similar to mine but man i almost spit my drink out when you said cp wasnt on this list. Thats just bonkers man.

  12. IMO 2002 Spurs Run by Tim Duncan is very underrated that team was bad 2018 cavs bad if not even worse

  13. Biggest what if for Jimmy is what if the Heat is healthy for the finals in 2020… Don't get me wrong injuries are part of the game so no excuses but the Heat had literally their 3 best players playing on injuries.
I think they would have won the ship if healthy.

  14. Okay dude…. Slow down on these videos because I'm 5 minutes in and you've said so many ridiculous things that it's hard to believe this is one of your videos…

Your "criteria" doesn't at all include what they did in the regular season which is 90% of player's careers… to think Jimmy Butler is better all-time than Carmelo, PG or TMAC is ridiculous, but over Paul makes this list a joke …

How is PG's 2021 playoff run better than taking the Heat to Game 7 of the ECF with the flipping Indiana Pacers?!?! And as you said PG is a SIX time All-NBA, has Jimmy Butler ever even made a 3rd team?

I get farming content but this is sloppy.

  15. Luv your breakdowns but I have to strongly disagree about CP3…a legit top 5 pg ALLTIME…how could he not be top 25 of last 25 yrs but a guy like Embiid makes it???

  16. Yeah imma disagree with Tracy vs Jimmy especially since Tracy didn't play bad his team wasn't as good or well coached as Jimmy's

  17. Still can’t believe he ranked Luka at 10. I’m paraphrasing but he said “luka only does 1 thing and is the very best at it and is unstoppable. He leads teams to the best offense and is 4 x ALL NBA 1st TEAM but he complains to refs so I’ll put him at 10” 😂

  18. Ok voice of reason on Jimmy butler. Yall cats act as if jimmy has 10 years of taking teams to the conference finals or more. Did I miss it somewhere? when did Jimmy 2 championship runs become all you need to be an alltime great? Im a jimmy fan but yall need to pump the brakes 🤦🏾‍♂️

  19. Alright, I have the same issue with your list as I do with Nick Wright. If you were an NBA owner and 25 years ago you guys were having a draft. Are you telling me that if you have the 25th pick, you're picking westbrook? And even if he was your second pick, who are you picking first if westbrook is your second pick? You can look at triple doubles and stats (ignoring turnovers) but who would really pick westbrook to start a franchise? JASON?!?!?

  20. Love the jimmy agenda but honestly shouldve taken out embiid and put cp3 in for him. CP3 career long longevity and able to control the floor and jimmy historic playoff runs with undermanned and injured teams outweighs the single mvp award (that shouldve gone to jokic) and playoff blunders by embiid. Love the respect that jimmy is starting to get because he has all the intangibles that some of the all-time greats wish they had that wouldve really helped them move up on the all time list.

  21. I think CP3 has a strong argument for top 25 ever ,let alone top 25 of last 25 years. And I am not even a fan of CP

  22. Peak Chris Paul’s impact on the regular season was just as high as everyone you just mentioned. He was a top 5 mvp candidate for like 10 years. His playoff impact is significantly higher as well.

  23. CP3 a classic victim of Jason's methodology with such a heavy emphasis on winning rings. A guy who was rookie of the year, 11x All NBA (4 1st team) selections, 9 All Defensive team selections, 5x assists leader, and a member of the NBA 75 list all time has to be on this list. Not just on the list but higher up. I can hardly think of any knowledgeable NBA fans or media that doesn't consider him–along with Curry–to be the greatest point guard of his generation. Dogged methodology can at times mislead and lead to decisions like this. Gotta remember he's played his whole career in the far more talented and competitive WC.

  24. No cp3 and no dame is weird and makes me feel like jt had fallen victim to some of the stupid media narratives about those guys

  25. I think Westbrook and harden is bad for basketball. Guys like them promote no off ball movement, turn over prone, ball dominant chuckers. I tend to notice low iq players have Westbrook as their favorite player

  26. I really don't get Jason's bias for Embiid. He's not his favorite archetype of player. And Embiid never has any individual or team success in the playoffs. Imo his playoff performance as a whole is worse than Tmac's. At least the latter played out of his mind in most playoff appearances but just fell short as the underdog. The only thing going for Embiid is the MVP award but it was basically gifted to him by Jokic. He has no business being in the top 25 player in the last 25 years.

  27. I haven't listened to this yet but I hope this guy does not put Westbrook or hard in over CP3. Because that's just insanity. That's just complete. Blasphemy
