Huge Mavs failure to sign McGee to that deal and get NOTHING out of him. They deserve criticism for that. Morris didn't get any playing time at the end of last year. Not sure why they would get rid of one player who doesn't play to re-sign another player who doesn't play. Whatever.
Mavs should’ve wait and see the center problem solved when season starts
Morris is tough and can shoot, just like his brother.
Clearly our GM is no longer allowed to make free agent decisions. Morris will spread the floor which is what we want from our big guys.

Morris signing was basically a camp invite… he has probably been working his but off to get back in shape and they gave him a “prove it” contract.
Also, if Mcgee signs with another team, he can’t pick up his player option… can he? That would be stupid…
