Not mad at either to be honest. Both bring different needs to the table.

Im ok with either tbh, not like theyre gonna get major minutes come playoffs anyway

I’ll take TJ we still need a reliable scoring forward off the bench

Two perfectly fine bench wing options to consider. Warren’s the bigger name and more intriguing scoring option, but Stevens is a tough defender. Hoping it’s Warren, but I like that they’re bringing in some playable dudes for the regular season.

Everyone is gonna see this and say TJ but I really can’t take another massive health question on this squad. It’s end of bench so not a huge deal either way but I’d rather not join the TJ Warren experience.

Steven’s kind of fits what Brad has gone after in bench wings—versatile defensively with a high motor. The problem is, much like Brissett, the shot is still shaky. Kind of redundant to have them both.

I’d love either. Stevens might be a better fit. Warren is kinda microwave-y (offense from the forward spot shouldn’t be a problem for this team) with no defense and Stevens could play consistently solid wing defense.

  7. Definitely agree with the focus on wing depth

Not familiar with Lamar Stevens but I think at this point, Warren is still a good depth piece especially for the minimum. There aren’t any good options left in the market for a wing, maybe except for Oubre.

  9. tj is a very good shooter. a backup role could be much worse

Why does anyone think tj warren is good? Post bubble he is similar to Greg oden in his productions. Exception to maybe 5 good games. Stevens gonna attack non stop on both ends. Anybody but warren is a win.

I mean we already have Hauser and I’m hoping this off season he develops his defense that could be useful in the playoffs

We need some scoring off the bench from the wing area. As hyped as we are for what Walsh brings, he’s not bringing scoring. If TJ is fully rehabbed his foot injuries and can be even 40% of what he was in the bubble, I am all in for that signing.

TJ would be a welcome addition . Anybody who can give us some buckets from the wing would be a good addition . It seems we have softened our stance on defense to a degree. I just think it comes down to if his foot has healed enough for his to not be a complete liability. He wasn’t anything crazy athletically at his prime . He can at least be a body to throw at wings when the Jays need a rest .

Not sold on Lamar , knowing the front office he will be signed and a serviceable player in the regular season .

Honestly McGee is a good shout for the Vet Minimum as well .

Let’s not forget we do have a TE as well.

We now have an additional roster spot open .

Stevens is a unique player. Loved him from his time at Penn State. He’s not a good 3pt shooter but he has a nice mid range jumper and plays good defense.

can we get Kelly Oubre? We need somebody to back up Oshae Brissett
