The Clippers Are SCARY Good

After acquiring Russell Westbrook, the Los Angeles Clippers immediately fell off a clip. They lost 5 straight, allowed opponents to have an outrageous offensive rating of 121, gave up 62 points per game in the paint, and had the 4th worst net rating.

But since then, the Clippers have proved why they’re legitimate title contenders. Kawhi Leonard and Paul George are playing outstandingly and look like the best duo in the league. Eric Gordon has been flame thrower since rejoining the Clippers, and Westbrook is in one of the better situations of his entire career.

In this video, you’ll learn why the Clippers are a force to be reckoned with in the Western Conference and why this should be the year for them to win it all.

  1. In fairness that 5 game stretch had a lot of close losses to good teams, but I’m still not convinced they can do it and clips are my team.

  2. I'm praying they get the chip this year, I wanna see PG and Russ ge.t their first (I also want to see Russ shyt on his haters). I also want to see Kawhi get his 3rd on 3 different teams. And as a LA native, I want the Clippers to have that parade and celebrate their first championship. It's time.

  3. The clippers have been GREAT with Westbrook even the games they lost, you tired to make it sound like Russ and team was terrible in their first 5 games together, they lost like 3 games by 2 points or less like they still have been great with Westbrook

  4. Im not afan of westbrook.but i think he found his place where he can show his real potential along with a good friend back in OKC days PG13 and a great player Leonard

  5. I enjoyed the commentary until the comment about Russ potentially not keeping an NBA after this year. Thats such a wild take 🤦‍♂️😂. Out the league????? Russ will have a job in the NBA as long as he wants. No only can he be a great asset to a team, he also brings in revenue.

  6. No excuses but that 5 game losing streak proves how valuable zubac is. It wasn’t there offense that was lacking in the losing streak it was there defense. And zubac is there anchor. Now with zubac back and reflecting on that losing streak they rejuvenated there defense. But hopefully they keep that mindset on defense even though zubac is back they can’t just rely on him. Especially with a team with this much depth.

  7. lakers are a sleeper favorites are denver phoenix sac and clippers. West is crazy and it could be any 5 of those teams in the west.

  8. Zubac's absence was huge in the losing streak.
The things the Clippers must address next are
    – the Morris /RoCo no-show mystery saga.
    – getting Russ + EG + Powell to mesh better on both ends. Powell's rhythm has been off lately, and defense has to improve.

    – upping Mann's involvement as a point-of-attack defender next to Kawhi&PG in crunch minutes. This is going to make all the difference in the post-season. Dude is an all-court dynamo – like a Josh Hart who's already dropped a 40-piece on a #1 seed's head in the WCSF 2 yrs ago…..even next to Russ, Mann is still the most athletic player on the team, plays smart, and with a severe passion.

  9. I HONOR MY MOST HIGH YAH, I HONOR YESHUA MY KING, I HONOR MY MAMA, I HONOR MY BROTHER…I LOVE MY DODGERS AND I LOVE MY CLIPPERS!!! KAHWI MISSED WHAT…2 YEARS DUE TO INJURY! PAUL GEORGE WAS HURT OFF AND ON AND IT APPEARED OR I AT LEAST HOPE HE WILL BE STRONG AND READY FOR THE PLAY-OFF! IF THEY KEEP PLAYING AT THIS LEVEL, THEY SHOULD GET PRETTY DEEP INTO THE PLAYOFFS! I WISH BLAKE GRIFFIN COULD TAKE MASON PLUMLEY’S SPOT😂😂😂!

  10. You don't need a duel superstar team to win a ring. Mavericks prove that narrative is false. Dirk did it against LeBron big 3. Who having won a ring like that.
