[Wojnarowski] For the league’s purposes on the fine, Harden’s comments that he would never be part of an organization that included Morey played a bigger part in the fine, sources said. It touched on the league’s rules concerning public trade demands.

Wouldn’t that be every other team tho?

Consistent with the league’s announced policy. You can’t refuse to honor a contract.

  3. Fat suit seems likely for Harden. Maybe he will just turn into a shitty team player (not hard all all for Harden.)

All the fans who said Morey needed to get fired for this were completely unaware of who actually has the power. The owners were not going to stand for this.

Proof: Harden is in the wrong more so than management
