McGee would be fine if they only bring him in to play against true centers. There aren't that many teams with a center like that but, it's situationally very useful (Jokic). I'd also like to see the Lakers use their 15th slot on Garuba.

His after game workouts and energy always brings good vibes around team.. he leads by his hardwork and selfless play.. something really was off with him in Dallas in a sense that he still can play and J Kidd had familiarity with him from coaching lakers .. something we’re not hearing .. that being said he can come and help Jaxson Hayes, Castleton and even AD and Vandy and Rui so I think he would be great as a backup 5 .. if Wood comes then he comes we could always open a spot up .. but we need somebody who can give u 3-4 fouls a game rebound and be a little rim protection …
The Lakers already have their center. CASTLETON can do it all.

THIS IS NOT THE 2020 LAKERS at this point MCGEEE is A PERFECT FIT. The main CENTER FOR THE LAKERS is AD. On CERTAIN nights he moves to forward and they can even bring Castleton halfway to the season for back up purposes. MCGEE is literally a 3rd stringer on occassion and some nights will barely see minutes. And THAT FOLKS is what the 13-14 roster spot should be.
