  1. I have no trust Ben will reach star status again because the Nets are not going to give him the same opportunities the Sixers did. If he does, it’s because he willed himself to be a star, which probably means he will not be the same player we saw in the past.

Imo, that’s not happening. He will be a role player playing in China.

  2. Embiid should be getting the blame. Philly aint innocent in this but he had contender teams a lot. They traded and signed some amazing star players and some GREAT role players and yet its never enough, because Embiid chokes at last games of playoff or he doesnt care enough for his body to be healthy… He is toxic player… Dont think someone can change him. Plus he is choker:/ thats not good. And im big fan of his, but ita true

  3. The injury excuse is a bit of a cop out, not a fan of you buying it because other stars have played well through injuries and gutted it out.

It’s the easy way out when analyzing rather then looking deeper at the actual numbers and game by game struggles

  4. Y’all are giving waaay to much credit to the older teams like Warriors, Lakers and Clippwrs. Injury and Father Time is knocking on their door and 1 or more of them teams will fall off

  5. The 76ers are struggling mainly because they are constantly trying to make something out of embiid that he just is not. Embiid is a dominant, traditional post scorer and a great defender, but he is not good at handling the ball or playmaking and he does way too much at the perimeter, sometimes i have the feeling they are trying to make another jokic out of embiid even though he simply does not have that skillset. Embiid is also a very underwhelming shooter from distance, which makes the perimeter struggle worse. It is really hard to build around a traditional center as your first option in todyas league and embiid just does not have the skillset to build your whole game plan around him.
Really love that OKC take honestly, i think OKC heaviely overperformed last season and i doubt as well that they will repeat anything close to that this year.
Ben Simmons will stay Ben Simmons, he is an outstanding athlete with very little actual BB skill. He is kind of an overseized russel westbrokk who is missing the drive, motivation and tenacity that Russ has.

  6. Oh Lordt a decade of the process, at least we got an MVP and hopefully a good trade offer out of it , especially since Embiid wants to leave

  7. Fan of the channel but u thinking my grizzlies can fall off because ja will be out, don’t worry my guy Jaren Jackson will have the team 5 or 10 games over 500 by the time ja gets back

  8. It's sad to see the west so strong and the east so weak. The Thunder would be a playoff lock in the east.

  9. If Simmons is 100% healthy and go to like the Lakers or a high scoring team, he would be dominating again.

  10. A 76ers fan here. Yes im upset that Harden is leaving, but he hasnt kept his word either.  Also, 76ers management SUCKS. First it was as Fultz, then Simmons, now its Harden. When isour management going to be held accountable

  11. Knicks want to throw a sink and a cpl dishwasher for this guy plus a ton of picks from the freezer space

  12. Personally, okc should make the playoffs for 3 reasons, continue development, more new talent snd health. I would bet some better teams will have health issues

  13. Embiid has been in the league for almost a decade now. Injuries and choke jobs have defined his career, they’re going to look at his LONE MVP season as an anomaly (he might go down as one of the worst MVPs in league history if he never gets out the 2nd round/win a ring)

  14. If the sixers have any chance they would need to trade Embiid to Okc, they are loaded with picks and young talent and then find a way to nab Kuminga from GS. Sixers HAVE to rebuild, there are simply no other options, they have no decent picks for multiple years, no bench, no young talent other than Maxey and aging vets with max contracts. They are toast. Their hope going into the season right now is somehow turning Paul Reed into Pascal Siakam….wow!!!

  15. the wait for embiid was never worth the wait. philly hasnt mattered or been relevant since iverson

  16. The process has been a complete fail !! The goal of tanking so many years was to win a championship , not to just make the playoffs

  17. Bro with the Embiid take really called Cp3 a choker lmao. Cp3 deserves a ring for the work he's put in. Casual ass fans are gonna really underrate him when he retires.

  18. If I'm The 76ers I'm callingThe Pelicans!

Pelicans Get- Joel Embiid & Furkan Korkmaz

76ers Get- Zion Williamsom, Trey Murphy, Jonas Valanciunas & 5 First Round Picks

You can say The Pelicans are paying a premium however Zion is a huge risk & tell me this starting 5 isn't top 3 in the West & Best defensive team in the west…

    Joel Embiid
    Herbert Jones
    Brandon Ingram
    Cj McCollum
    Jose Alvarado

  19. While Embiid has been hit with the injury bug a lot you highlighted that style of play is the primary reason for it. Coupled with him showing zero indication that he will change his game and his continued deflection of responsibility for non performance in the playoffs it doesn't look like the story will be changing any time soon.

  20. Like I said before play him as a point power forward, make him slash more and work on his free throws

  21. If this was Embid‘s 3rd or 4th season. I can understand your take. Also after the loss this Post Season Embid is just making jokes like it doesn't matter. Injury Excuses are real but when you want an MVP more than winning a Championship it doesn't matter. You lose own up too it. Enough Excuses

  22. Embiid is a choker no doubt about that.. about damn time they move on from that choker who can't take responsibility for his own failures.. the most pathetic MVP in the NBA history

  23. The thing that is not talked about enough, Embiid going 110% in the last 10 regular games so he can secure a regular season MVP despite the fact that he has a history of injuries in the playoffs. In the end, he did get injured, is there a chance he would not end up injuring himself if he rested some of the last 10 regular season games like Jokic did? Did Embiid put his personal award in front of his team's success?

  24. West strong? Blazers? Jazz? Spurs ? Rockets? Grizzles have Ja out 25 games ? Pelicans zion is finally going to be healthy?

  25. Without Embiid, Phily has far worse chances of winning a chip. Some teams are just not built to win. You could drop Steph and KD in there and nothing will change. Owners that really want to win go far and beyond to win.

  26. I agree with the comment you got about Embiid. More specifically,he chokes every post season forgood reasons. He has a weak mindset as well as many holes in his game and an over realiance on foul baiting and flopping to score. He's not a worse player in the playoffs, he's the sameplayer. Opponents have the focus of knowing they'll play one team in a series and they can gameplan forhim. also the refs sometimes don't call bs fouls (sometimes they do it even morelol) so that's that. The 76ers have a better psot season record with ben Simmons and no Embiid vs the reverse lol. Same for james harden without Embiid vs the reverse. Embiid is not a championship caliber player, not as a #1 option. Hewillleave Phillyanyway as soon as he's able, to go somewhere and chase a ring on a team that's already a contender.

  27. In short, choking is the failure of a person, or persons, to act or behave as anticipated or expected

At this point Embiid isn’t a choker because nobody is expecting him to be good in the playoffs

  28. Tbh you cant pull all the postseason failures on injuries for Embiid hes choked when his team needed him, like this year, and while true hes almost never been at 100% its not like hes out there on a season ending injury (or maybe he was I'd have to look) and when he does have a good/great game the injury thing is mostly forgotten. Tbf though him having 3 straight busts of 2nd options is another main reason for his struggles

  29. Ben Simmons “will have a big comeback season” we have heard this about him every offseason😂😂 but nah on the real I hope this is the season he does well.

  30. Hopefully after this season you will stop being a Timberwolves hater

Kings, Lakers would be likely to fall.
    Not the griz, wolves 🤷🏽‍♂️
