I think 3rd is reasonable for us, but I see the Knicks over the Sixers and Heat at the very least. They’re better than most people think.

Not too surprising. The Cavs were an excellent regular season team last year and only got better and hungrier this year.
The turmoil with the 76ers is a big wild card for the top of the standings.

I like it, but kinda confused on how the heat are projected 5th. Maybe they really believe they coast in the regular season again, certainly possible.

I fear we will become regular season soldiers

Seems a little optimistic, but possible.

I like what they said so I believe it to be true

I think the biggest problem with the Heat is that they made the Finals and were incredible. But I don’t think anyone will argue that they overachieved by *a mile*. And even though Strus isn’t a star or anything like that, he brought a lot of value to a fairly thin team. God knows what the 6ers are going to look like or how they’ll perform. The Bucks are always a threat, but they’re aging with some injury concerns, and the Celtics lost a fair bit of their depth for more injury concerns and top heavy star power. I think we have the opportunity to really make some regular season noise in what’s probably going to be a very top-heavy eastern conference. Indiana is going to do better than they’re getting credit for, and the Knicks as well I think. If I had to make a prediction right now, the seeding would be Bucks, Cavs, Celtics, Knicks, 6ers, Pacers, Miami, Orlando/Brooklyn. 6ers get bounced by NY, Miami takes us to 7 but we get the W, and we see Indy in the second round but make it to the ECF and showdown against the Bucks
