The Heat organization isn’t for everyone, but it also typically attracts the right type of players.

Hmmmmm…..interesting. But would he be interested in Minnesota per chance?

Trail Blazers fans: “He’s running away from the grind!”

Bitch there’s no grind quite like Heat Culture

Would’ve been cooler if he was attracted before he signed his contract two years ago.

Do we really need a source to say this? This is why anyone would want to come to the Heat.

Crazy. Sounds like the opposite of Portland.

    Fuck Portland.

It’s so silly that anyone attempts to frame players wanting to come to Miami as “they just wanna live on the beach in a big market”. Yeah, that’s a perk, but it’s not why they show up in the first place.

There are **30** NBA teams. In the last four drafts (since 2020), **21** of them have had a pick at 10 or higher. Of those 21, **13** of them have picked at pick 4 or higher.

The competition Miami faces in attracting quality players isn’t exactly enormous. There’s around ten teams who have proved that they’re not going to intentionally waste years of players’ careers to mortgage the future on stars that’ll take years to develop anyway. Portland specifically took the GSW approach in “okay, our guy’s injured? let’s get a pick” and then used it on his replacement.

It’s alarming to me that people scream “we’re a small market, we never get anything” and completely neglect the realization that their team does nothing for the players they have in the first place. Of those 9 teams not relying on picks for their progression, **3** are champions. **2** went to the Finals.

    Not rocket science.
