Who is the biggest breakout candidate for the Pacers this year?
All this discussion all Summer about this player and that player progressing. Can someone please tell me how all these guys up their numbers with just one ball? I can argue that Turners numbers go down slightly just based on touches and not efficiency. That still wont be enough to cover all these fantasy leaps. So, who else will sacrifice their brand for the good of the team? How long of a leash will Carlisle have with guys not named Haliburton and Turner until he says the offense goes through those again? Who sacrifices and for how long to give all these guys these increased roles everyones talking about? I could see Turner as the vet willing, who else???
Josh is clearly too low on Obi Toppin. He's very good and has a ton of upside.
I think Obi will have a breakout season, but Mathurin will be the biggest breakout szn. We've got a good squad and a good bench.
