Tyrese “Prince of the City” Maxey averaged 20 ppg on 43.4% 3PT last season. Can he be an all-star this coming season?

  1. I hope so, we need to see improvement in his handles and playmaking though

No, many other guards in the east are better than him right now

Averaging 20 isn’t what it used to be in todays NBA. In order for him to take the next step to being an all star level player he has to bump that number up a bit (24-25 PPG) while not losing much efficiency. But he also needs to become more of a playmaker. If he can step up as the clear #2 on this squad while putting up 23/6 or so assists on good splits I think he’s in that all star discussion.

I’ve been tired of the “Fresh Prince” thing since Simmons tried to use it.

He can be an all-star if he keeps it up, definitely.

He can be all-NBA if he improves his defense.

Hmm Tyrese would have to put up better numbers than Donovan/Lavine/Lamelo/Haliburton/Garland/Trae/Brunson/Dame (if traded to Heat)

Just need a solid vet PG to start next to him

In a lineup with James Harden hogging the ball, averaging 20ppg and 43.4% 3PT is ungodly.

    Yes.

Idk about actually being on the all star roster but I definitely think he’s capable of all star level production. There’s a lot of great guards out there. He’ll be on the cusp of that conversation
