How would you value the current version of Vanderbilt? And what do you think he needs to improve at? Also, comment your favorite Kobe Bryant moment(s)!
Thanks for watching and don't forget to drop a like + subscribe if you have not already! 🙂
I think ppl are asking too much of Vando on the offensive end. He doesn't need to be a great ball handler. If he improves he 3 ball slightly, he's exactly what the league throws the bag at. He's an elite defender already. You basically just said if he can just be LeBron lol. He can take the Draymond approach minus the above avg playmaking and get PAID
I'll never forget seeing vandy "shut down" curry in the playoffs and force gsw to change their offense. That was absolutely insane. And of course he can become an avg 3pt shooter from the corner. We def gotta resign him.
Kobe’s dunk on Yao Ming was my favorite Kobe play. Too many great plays to single out.
I ❤ Vanderbilt. The hard thing to teach is defense. No trophy for D. You can always put up 1000 shots a day. Can't do that with your feet
If he can make all defensive team he can demand more.
Laker fans would have paid Alex Caruso 12 million dollars per season. But the Lakers GM told Caruso to take this 7 million dollars and be happy. Rob Pelinka cares more about double-digit scoring guards like Austin Reaves than Defense 1st Mentality players like Alex Caruso. 8 million dollars per season for Vanderbilt.
Michael Jordan steaming that Hornets traded Kobe lmao
Only person to do something similar as Kobe with the Achilles free throw situation is Klay Thompson in the 2019 finals when he tore his ACL
Vando should forget 3s and just cut from the corner to the paint for floaters and lay-ups.
My favorite Kobe moment has to be his last game. It was just insane to see him drop 60 after all the injuries he had towards the end of his career
video jus dropped of vid playmaking at nba pick up runs he ain’t look bad
my favorite moment of Kobe is when he won his 4th chip jumping in joy while pumping his fist. As a long time Kobe fan, I know how big that moment is. That was his first chip at the same time jumping over the hump of "He can't win without Shaq" criticisms.
Coming from someone who's snapped his Achilles before, that moment has to be the tops for me! I was rolled out the gym in a wheelchair ♿. After seeing Kobe flex his Mamba Mentality in that moment is almost un-worldly. I'm such a wimp 😒
2/8/24 for life ✌🏿
He got played off the court in the Denver series. If he can get his 3 up to 30% he is worth keeping.
Vando just needs to improve his decision making and playmaking. Don't expect much him on 1 off-season. He can neutralize the lack of shooting if he has quick reads on offense by giving up the ball quickly and/or cutting smartly. Shooting is a gradual improvement, it won't be fixed in 1 off-season. So don't expect him to be great offensively overnight.
I like vando hope he gets paid he really under paid and under valued
My favorite Kobe moment was seeing him super happy he got Pau Gasol after they played the first game together. Mi gusta, Mi gusta mucho.
It's hard to pick one great moment but I always enjoy when he faced the so called Kobe stoppers Shane Battier, Bruce Bowen, Ruben Patterson, mr "Kobe Stopper" Raja Bell,
Dude needs to eat . It feels cringe everytime he weakly dunked and flex his muscle .
Not sure if you meant to do this, but most of the highlight clips showed Vandos team losing.
the left hand three, with mark cuban just smiling lol
Remember when mamba did a lil moonwalk then sinked a free throw😂😂😂❤❤❤…rip mamba❤
I can’t name 1 favorite Kobe moment (there so many) but here are my top 6. 1) Kobe’s lob to Shaq in game 7 come back against Trailblazers. 2) Kobe’s performance in game 4 of finals vs Pacers. He played great all game and took over offensively, defensively, after Shaq fouled out in ot. He made big shots, blocked shots and had big offensive rebound and put back to secure the win. He was only 21 coming back off a bad ankle injured ( caused on purpose by Jalen Rose). He showed he wasn’t a side kick but Batman to Shaq’s Superman! 3) His poster dunk on Dwight Howard( when he was with the Magic)! 4) Him outscoring the Mavs 66-62 through 3 quarters! He could have scored 80+ points if he didn’t voluntarily sit out the 4th quarter. The Mavs team was lead by future Hall of Famer MVP, Finals MVP & NBA Champ Dirk Nowitzki!! Dallas was a contender with one of the top 5 players in the league at the time
, that’s what makes this so impressive! 5) His performance against Spain in the gold medal game. Especially his big 3 point shot to seal the win and put his finger to his mouth and told the crowd to hush!! He showed on a team with Wade, Melo and Bron he was at that time the best player in the world not NBA but the world 🌎!!! 6) Him jumping on table pumping his fist and arms out to the fans at Staples after beating Smeltics in game 7 finals for his 5th championship!! Rest in Power Kobe “Bean” Bryant, The Black Mamba!!! 💜💛💜💛💜💛
4 years 30 m lol I be glad to turn that down if I was him🤨
Vando is should get paid. He’s amazing defender and has huge potential on offense. Can wait to see his development this season. Also Happy Belated Birthday to the King of LA Kobe. Gone but never forgotten. Can’t wait to see his salute. There are only two moment that stands out as my favorite from my idol Kobe Bryant. The one is the the Two Free with a Tore Achilles, like it showed his toughness and how much he really wanted to win. The second one is his last game ever, I can remember being at the game and how emotional it was. Kobe dropped 60 in a vintage Kobe moment. Those are my favorites moments of Kobe. RIP Kobe we still miss ya. Happy Mamba Day and nice video
You’re high, his defense alone gets him his cash. He was more important than RUI in last year’s playoffs
Kobe 💜💛
Matisse Thybulle got $11M a year, saying Vando’s value is $6M-$10M is crazy
Kobe Vs Raptors March 8 2013
Was reported that Vando is not eligible for extension till sometime in September. We will wait and see how his time with Phil Handy translates into a new contract.
Get vando on a contract extension. If anything it will be another contract to stack up to trade for the next superstar in the post lebron era
I think he gets 3 years 45 or slightly above this
If Vando can creep to that 2nd team all defense, give him the max ❗
