Sharing the wealth!
Great move. The two cities are slowly but surely connecting. It’s only a matter of time. My dad’s family is from San Antonio, but I’ve lived in Austin my whole life, and the two cities have always seemed destined to join up.

As you know the Spurs are playing games in Austin and Mexico now. This is part of the organization's strategy in reaching a larger regional market.
This move potentially puts them in the top 10 in the NBA in the size of the market that they reach. (This equates to lots of dollars😎 That they are desperate for being a small market team)
I went to one of the Austin games and had the VIP access. Many of the UT staff were there including the head coach and Arod😂 for some reason .
Because the UT basketball team uses the Moody center this only makes sense to me that they are sparking up a public relationship.

It was inevitable that San Antonio and Austin would eventually merge like DFW
