This has gotta be some of the craziest nitpicked analysis I've ever seen. Ant was consistently one of the best defenders (having one of the best plus-minus in all of the games they've played) with really good offensive efficiency in nearly all of the warmup games. And his insertion into the starting lineup in Vegas was when they actually started beating the select team. Also, Spain (no. 1 ranked team in the world) and Germany ARE the among the among the most elite teams in the tournament so what in the world are you talking about saying "IF they do this amongst the elite teams" as if they haven't played these teams already? This is extreme agenda-driven analysis at its worst.

I think edwards is the guy to watch for. If he doesn't isolate as much and plays team ball, then the usa will win. But if he insists on ball stopping isolations, then the usa will be in trouble, especially since the international teams know each other well and they will play a zone defense to shut team usa down.
The truth is they donāt win the Germany game without edwards this sounds like a lot of hating to me

a lot of youth on this team is concerning enough. They'll be competitive, but I wouldn't be surprised if they underperform either. The end game performance is what's gonna make or break this team. Edwards is a good player, but there is no need for him having the ball for as much as he did at the end of that game.

Did you even do research before making this video lol, Ant was asked that by Kerr last month during a practice scrimmages tryouts, and he won the spot the same day when the starters lost to the select team.
The misfit isnāt ANT itās jalen Brunson heās a ball dominant point. The offense flows better when tyreese Halliburton runs the offense because heās always pushing the pace and getting the ball out of his hands fast plus he can shoot the three well
Man idk, only support when Brunson goes into iso mode but then nitpicking Ant, the guy who outscored the other 4 starters by 9 points and is the reason the us beat Germany seems a little disingenuous to me. Ant was in scoring mode because no one else was, and he shot over 50% from the field so itās not like he was just throwing up shots. Not to mention he hasnāt been nearly as ball dominant in other games and idk just seems like nitpicking to me.

Ofcourse Team USA should be worried… In the 2019 World Cup, Team USA brought their B team to the tournament and came 7th. This time they've brought their C team, and the rest of the world has grown even stronger. Team USA still has enough talent to win the tournament, but it's a sudden death situation – any of the top 4 or 5 teams can get hot on any given night, and cause an upset against one another.

I would either bring brunson or ingram off the bench as lead creators. Edwards is the best player on the team so he has to start. Ingram really hasnt done much, him off the bench or haliburton starting would give him more opportunities. Besides Ant, Ingram is the best scorer on the team but also a fantastic playmaker. He is too good to be the third option and get 8 points per game.

Why are we hating on this team so much? If these guys played together in the nba theyād compete for a title. The international game is good now. I love these young guys they play the right way. These guys play hard and I think will be suffocating defensively with clutch time being on ants shoulders. Pretty good for a bunch of guys who have probably never played together.

One thing that stood out to me against Spain was how many more actions the Spaniards ran than team USA. Part of the reason they hung around in the game was because they got into their sets quickly and forced Team USA to defend way more actions. On the contrary, Team USA is walking the ball up and thinking they'll generate an advantage immediately with a simple pistol action. All the good teams will be super solid for the first few actions and if Team USA is slow to initiate half court offense they'll be forced into late shot clock situations. That's fine during the last few minutes of the game and playing with a lead but the other 35 minutes there needs to be more of a sense of urgency on Team USA's part. The luxury that Team USA has is to be able to find advantages in individual matchups, like Brunson against the young NuƱez for Spain, and win the game off of that.

Thanks for the video! Ant's hands can get sticky, but he can score in bunches. Most of the time, he has been playing within the offense. He's gaining the maturity as to when to take over. He took over against Germany when no one else was stepping up (Hali and Reeves did help with the push).
He's also playing tough defense. He was guarding Franz Wagner (Germany's offensive hub) the whole 4th quarter too. The biggest thing may be his leadership. Listen to him talk he's always pumping up his teammates instead of tooting his own horn.
The Wolves have been fun to watch especially the past two years and with Ant and Jaden McDaniels, that may be the case for a long time.
Coming from a Serb, I think you are still winning it, even though some well organized team could beat you. But you are still the favorite, non the less.
