One of the greatest winners in basketball history. Legendary performance!

How many of these do you want to get?

    About 20.

This is why he is the GOAT of Point Guard.

    Curry ain’t on Magic level.

This man WAS the Lakers engine. Just like Curry to the Warriors. If not more so.

    – 1989 Lakers, Kareem playing 20mins a game averaging 10ppg, Magic led them to a 57-25 record

    – 1990 Lakers, Kareem retired, Magic led them to a 63-19 record

    – 1991 Lakers, no Kareem, 58-24 record, finals appearance

    – 1992 Lakers, Magic retired, 43-39 record

Imagine being close to a 60 win team every season when the “1A option” leaves 😂. Magic was the actual alpha on the team. Just didn’t score as much.

Absolutely unreal that he was a rookie doing this. Nothing about this performance looks like rookie play. You really do see why he was such a phenom in his day.

Crazy to think that just the year before the Lakers were only the 5th seed in the West and [teenage Magic was leading Michigan State to the NCAA championship over 22 year old Larry Bird.](https://youtu.be/uZDbhkX2t9A)

Is this a top 5 all time rookie season?

  8. Nostalgia is a powerful thing. It’ll never cease to amaze me how people view these old games and then view modern players unfavorably. There is a complete lack of size, length, defensive strategy, ball-handling, shooting ability, etc, etc. And this was a Finals game.

I know this was from the 80s, but the 90s games are relatively unskilled compared to the modern game, too. You are delusional if you don’t think the worst team in the NBA today wouldn’t dominate the 90s Bulls.
