I truly cannot wait for Austin to be an all star this year along with Cam breakout all star season reaching that comparable Tatum/PG potential or at least having an Andrew Wiggins type of impact in a championship season
Hayes will eat because Dlo works great with bigs and will feed lobs. Reddish will not out play Baby Kobe for minutes so he will need injuries to really get on the court.
I have a feeling playing with Bron & AD can unlock Cam’s game Bron has the mentor mindset to help Cam flourish also the way Bron makes players with Cam’s skill set better like a J.R. smith play like an allstar Cam can really turn his career around he can and still has the time to become reliable and key role player in this league .

Why do every NBA player have to be a 3 point specialist. There’s different skill sets players have than trying to be like Step Curry. Just saying
Cam will be fine. Finally on a team that is not tanking. Plus, he can just attack closeouts off of Bron, AD, and Reaves actions. Hopefully, featured ball handling role in a bench mob without Bron and AD. Hayes gets the Wenyen Gabriel role pending Lakers not signing Woods or Boogie.
Cam and Hayes were not getting any real time on the floor. That's the reason they are both in their current positions. Fit is important, but it's usually comes down to playing time vs popular narrative. Coaches destroy player's careers prematurely too. Example. Frank Vogle – D. Howard.
My assumption is that the Lakers are hoping for: 1) Vando to improve his offense, or 2) Reddish to improve his defense, and for one of them to outright claim the starting SF spot. If not, at least they have Prince for insurance this year.
My other assumption is that the Lakers would prefer for Hayes to be their 3rd string C/PF this year, which is why they’re looking at more established guys like Wood and Biyombo at those positions.
Otherwise, I’m assuming the Lakers are comfortable with the rest of their starters and depth.
I would certainly hope they are working lol.
