I just think this organization is cursed. Every time they overpay for somebody, that player always relaxes or declines. Small market teams have a long history of this. I’m glad they talked him out of the ridiculous amount he tried to get, but I won’t be surprised if this contract keeps them from getting somebody in free agency and PJ plateaus
