Ingram looks like an spare wheel out there next to Ant.

Can see him getting frustrated with no opportunities, should give him a run next to Reaves and Hali.

  2. Jayveesac

This team doesn’t have the pizzazz of past USA teams but they defend well and that’s gonna bode well for the knock-outs

  3. One thing I know: players will want to play next to Hali, he makes it easy and fun

  4. Foreign_Tangelo

Either Hali or Reaves need to start at some point. It’s clear that the bench is better than the starters, Kerr should at least experiment with it.

Good showing overall. Must keep the advantage of always outpacing the opposing team. Papagiannis almost cooked us lol

  6. Saint_Skeeter

Hart with 11 rebounds and 5 assists in 20 minutes good lord

  7. Austin Reaves leading scorer on USA, and tied for the highest +- with Haliburton and Johnson. It’s a good day for the believers.

Brunson shooting 73% from the field in FIBA competition

Would you put Hart on the Olympic team? He fits this team perfectly.

There’s a reason Thanasis was a bench player in Euroleague at age 26 (averaging 4/2/1 in 12 MPG) when Milwaukee brought him in to please his brother.

Is there a reason why USA doesn’t start their best players and are splitting the minutes so much?

Like, Austin Reaves is easily their most influential player but they don’t put him enough time. Banchero seems better than the starter too to me.

Everyone’s having a laugh about the fouling and the goofy stuff with Ant and Kerr, but JJJ has been out there doing exactly what this team needs from him. The box score isn’t even particularly impressive, but he’s effecting all sorts of shots defensively, and he’s been incredibly efficient with the offensive touches he’s gotten.

Ya’ll finally starting to see how good Reaves is?

Watched this live. Josh Hart is an absolute beast on the boards

Paolo barely got minutes and he is still one of the top scorers top p/m guys. I can already see hot takes on how good Austin Reaves/Hali/Hart/Portis are when they were allowed to feast in the end minutes when Greece gave up and were down 20.

I am not saying that Austin/Hali/Hart weren’t good or that those closing minutes/group weren’t special but playing garbage time and putting on an show shouldn’t take away from the players who brought the lead up originally and were playing when the game was close and contentious.

I say all that but I do gotta admit that Reaves is probably the most influential player, I think Paolo is the most impactful and can completely change the tides offensively and defensively while to me Reaves is just overflowing with connectivity and synergy. He makes everybody better. Hali similar but I really think Reaves is the difference with Paolo thats why they are usually the first 2 in and are always usually the biggest +/-. Both should start imo and the starters would actually have some type of teamwork and cohesion. Reaves, Ant, BI/Mikal, Paolo, JJjr.

  16. FIBA Austin Reaves is now my favorite player along with NBA Austin Reaves

Them fans screaming every free throw need to be removed permanently

  18. People gotta focus less on who is starting. What they are doing is working. Plus, it ends up coming down to who plays more minutes and closes than who starts.

That bench unit comes in the game and punches other teams starting units in the mouth not to mention other teams benches. Reaves and Hali give team USA a lot of tempo and it tends to catch teams off guard even when they key in on it.

Tyrese with 3 BLOCKS. His defense is very much improved

  20. Training_Ad7030

The US team is just way deeper than anyone else

  21. Minute-Decent

Josh Hart and Austin Reaves were the players of the game today.

I have such a hard time deciding what to think of Reaves. He’s obviously really good…but is it sustainable production we’re seeing, or are teams going to get a year of tape on him and rip him apart?

  23. JGoat2112

I think they should switch up the lineups they put out with BI, give him more run with Hali and Reaves/Hart

Watching these games has convinced me Banchero has the potential to be an MVP candidate in 5 years
