For Fournier and a Draft Pick I would Welcome the addition of a player like Gary Trent Jr.Knick Nation!!!!! absolutely
The age, i.e. = he's young at 24, and his athleticism is definitely an upgrade over Fournier and only one draft pick extra to get Trent – GO KNICKS! This is far more appealing than selling our young core players plus multiple picks to get superstars. Maybe one mortgages the future for a player like Giannis Antetokounmpo, but be very careful with Joel Embiid – can he stay healthy? With Brunson, Randle, Hart, RJ, etc… inch by inch, upgrades that continues procuring two-way players that have chemistry with the Villanova guys is the way to go. We NYK fans want instant results, but remember – 'Rome was not built in a day'.
The Knicks just signed Hart and Divencenzo, so I don't see a role for him. Also, with the Knicks suing the Raptors, I don't see this happening. Finally, the Knicks really don't make alot of trades, as their rotation consists exclusively of home grown players and free agents. The media is trying to frame the Knicks as waiting to make this type of trade, but I don't see it happening.
