[Stein] The Lakers and the Knicks are already being mentioned as franchises presumed to interest Antetokounmpo down the road if he does decide to move on from Milwaukee.

> The Lakers and the Knicks are already being mentioned as franchises presumed to interest Antetokounmpo down the road if he does decide to move on from Milwaukee, which just made a slew of moves (re-signing Khris Middleton and Brook Lopez and replacing Mike Budenholzer as coach with Adrian Griffin) to try to appease its face of the franchise.

> You can be certain, if nothing else, that The Giannis Watch is back on and, like it or not, will thrust his future back to the forefront of the NBA discourse after just three seasons of relative quiet that must have elapsed awfully quickly for Bucks fans.

It would be more newsworthy if we weren’t interested

This isn’t really news, but I will say I’m MUCH happier hearing us in rumors about Embiid and Giannis than when we were rumored to be interested in Zach LaVine and Bradley Beal.

Nba teams interested in possibly greatest player currently playing becoming a free agent, more at 11.

would OKC or Utah not double what we’re able to offer?

We’re always mentioned as “points of interest” fucking yawn, this shit is the same clickbait as it is for every pending FA

You all are misreading the comment. It’s not “presumed interest from the Knicks” it’s Giannis presumed interest IN the Knicks.

Could just be usual knicks for clicks shit (I know this is reportedly coming from Giannis but specifically mentioning LA & NY makes me wonder how seriously to take it, feels too obvious), but, I mean, we kinda do have the assets necessary where if Giannis is pushing to be here we could get him without slaughtering our roster. Not to mention that Thibs/Brunson/Julius all match Giannis’ vibe.

If i had a dollar every time a player down the line was rumored to be a knick, i’d be rich and still a heart broken knicks fan. I’m tired of waiting for x player down the line. I want this team to win now. I love the direction the team is headed but tired of waiting for the next star

NYC is the shortest flight to Greece.

A Bucks great being rumored to want out, and LAL and NYK being the top destinations? Where have I heard that before?

If it does come around, we better fucking pull the trigger this time.

As a Jets fan as well, give me all the MVP players from Wisconsin teams.

Every team has their sights set on Giannis but the Knicks are the only big market team with the assets to do so. But that’s a big if Giannis wants to leave the Bucks

I doubt the Bucks risk letting him walk in 2025, given that they don’t have full rights to their ’26 and ’27 draft picks.

Next offseason, we make our move.
