I’m guessing, like, 5 people got tickets before the bots swarmed in and bought the rest of them for the purposes of flipping them

    Scumbaggery

Happened last year for Edmonton. The bots got all the tickets and then the resale sites had them up hours later for 5x or more the face value.

And its not even a real Raptors game… Imagine paying top dollar for a pick-up game with the starters on the bench 1/2 the game at least.

The only way to stop the PoS scalpers is to refuse to pay.

I refuse to buy a ticket above face value. I can always watch on TV.

Let events go on as planned, “sold out”, to a half empty venue.

But, unfortunately self-control is not taught anymore and no longer practiced really.

My husband was offered tickets through his work and they were $340 a ticket! One ticket! For pre season!! I said no thank you.

Feel bad for anyone that buys secondary market tickets to a preseason game

I went once and fool me once shame on you and fool me twice shame on me.

Signed up for presale but had to be queued in. By the time it was my turn to buy tickets they were all gone. Ticketmaster booted me out to a countdown screen for the general public sale.

I saw Upper Bowl tickets on Stubhub go for $500+. Some Lower Bowl tickets marked high as $1500+

    Settled for $200 tickets :/

  8. I mean could’ve just shortened the whole article to just “raptors tickets are expensive” tbh
